I have a quick question. What happened on episode 133 of DBZ? I don't own that part of the series, and I can't find an episode description for it anywhere.

As the title says, which manga volume and anime episode premiered after you were born?

I was born March 22, 1992, so for me:

Manga Volume: Volume 30
Anime: Episode 133

Good podcast, though the screwy microphone was a little bit annoying. I've only been to one anime con, and none of the people there had a Dragon Ball cosplay. I just recently purchased the original 2000 DVDs of Bardock-The Father of Goku and The History of Trunks used from Funimation. The DVDs are in pretty good condition, so it was a good purchase.

I just realized that the podcast has as many episodes as Dragon Ball now!

I think Funimation did a good job with Makafushigi Adventure and Romantikku Ageru Yo. But I think the Japanese versions are still the best...

I could see it being dubbed and aired on Cartoon Network by the end of next year at the earliest, as well as a DVD release at about the same time.

Back in the 90's, it was definitely popular, but as it stands, Pokémon was, and still is, probably the most popular anime in the U.S., and Naruto and Bleach are pretty much the successors to Dragon Ball Z currently.

It's a shame One Piece never caught on in America like Naruto and Bleach did...

I certainly hope they don't change the music! If Funimation gets a hold of it, hopefully they only change the voices. But knowing their checkered past with Dragon Ball....
