So I think you could sum this podcast up like this:

Funimation+Logic=Illogical

The sad part about hearing you guys talk about Vic Mignogna on the podcast is my sister is in the Vic Mignogna fan club....

Hironobu Kageyama of course for my favorite singer.

My favorite composer is probably Shunsuke Kikuchi. I realize the more time I spend on these forums, the more time I'm starting to like the Japanese version of the show better....

I started watching the series in 1997 and became a fan of it in 1998, so 10 years of fandom for me. :)

Wow, this thread got popular!

I have a quick question. What happened on episode 133 of DBZ? I don't own that part of the series, and I can't find an episode description for it anywhere.

First volume/episode to premiere after you were born

As the title says, which manga volume and anime episode premiered after you were born?

I was born March 22, 1992, so for me:

Manga Volume: Volume 30
Anime: Episode 133

Ironically, the Android Arc is my favorite arc in the series.

New movies and specials are more than welcome. But I don't really want Toei to reanimate the series. My thoughts exactly. Also, one thing to consider is the ages of the actors. All of the actors are in their 50's-70's (most of them anyway). So even if Toei tried to reanimate the series, the actors ...

Good podcast, though the screwy microphone was a little bit annoying. I've only been to one anime con, and none of the people there had a Dragon Ball cosplay. There was a Luffy and Nami cosplay though, so that certainly made my day. Hopefully the one I'm going to in March will have some Dragon Ball ...

I just recently purchased the original 2000 DVDs of Bardock-The Father of Goku and The History of Trunks used from Funimation. The DVDs are in pretty good condition, so it was a good purchase.

So is it better than Budokai 3? I think the gameplay in Infinite World is better, and even though they're not that great, the minigames are kinda fun too. But I think Budokai 3 feels like a more polished, complete game. I find the AI to be less annoying, as well. The AI is pretty annoying, with the...

I could see it being dubbed and aired on Cartoon Network by the end of next year at the earliest, as well as a DVD release at about the same time.

Has anyone else noticed this?

I'm sure this has been shown or brought up before, but for those who haven't seen this picture, I thought I would bring it up.

I just finished it. I must say, it wasn't perfect, but it was still good authentic Dragon Ball. These things were what made this enjoyable for me: -The opening. I don't think any of us expected this. Very awesome seeing a Post-Buu Era version of Chala Head-Chala. -Typical Toriyama humor. "Drawi...

Back in the 90's, it was definitely popular, but as it stands, Pokémon was, and still is, probably the most popular anime in the U.S., and Naruto and Bleach are pretty much the successors to Dragon Ball Z currently.

It's a shame One Piece never caught on in America like Naruto and Bleach did...

Great podcast as usual. Mike don't feel bad, it took me 7 tries to beat the last Freeza battle on normal. And yes, he kept spamming the ultimate attack on me too. This game is definitely way harder than Budokai 3. I had the same problem. It took me a while to beat Chibi Buu also, and I still have to ...

Cell/Android saga... I dunno, I love how it builds to the moment where it's up to Gohan to save the day and then he screws up and Goku sacrifices himself... which was very moving to me the way they did it. Then he appears "in spirit" behind Gohan doing the one-handed KameHameHa. Just a br...
