Re: Could they port the PS2 games to the New 3DS?
It can play Wii games, so sure, why not? Best place to ask this is here http://gbatemp.net/categories/nintendo-3ds-discussions.198/ New 3DS can "play" Wii games? You mean Xenoblade? That's a mediocre port but it's not their fault, the handheld itself isn't too powerful so they couldn't do...

Re: Toriyama's racial/ist character portrayals?
The sarcastic, dismissive, one-liner back-and-forths end immediately. Account strikes come next. Account strikes add up to temporary/permanent bans from the entirety of the website. You don't want this. So you're suppressing free-speech because one can't say how some people are towards this or that...

Re: Toriyama's racial/ist character portrayals?
There's a difference between something that was made to offend and a drawing that just emphasizes minorities' racial features. Sure there is but some people in US just straight up use the race card because it's somehow offensive to them. The show Black-ish made a really comical episode about the wh...

Re: Toriyama's racial/ist character portrayals?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z8lvsVfa3Yg Killa sounds like this in FUNi's English dub? That's hilarious! I can't believe Funimation actually did this shit. It still shocks me to this day. It's quite an offensive stereotype of black people. This is the problem with comedy nowadays it always...

Re: What's your most recent Dragonball purchase?
Here's what I got this week:
Note 1: Need to get a new sticker for the N64 cartridge.
Note 2: It's misleading to have Gohan as a Super Saiyan but if he was in Base Mode it wouldn't look suitable cause all the others are in SSJ form.

Re: MangaUK Licenses Dragon Ball Z Kai for DVD & Blu-ray
For the price that it costs it should, take Kill la Kill: Box 1 - Collector's Edition (Blu-ray) is now on discount for £23.50 and the packaging is highly impressive for the fans of the show. I've yet to open mine. I don't know why Manga UK has to be so cheap yet Anime LTD makes those £30-40 well wor...

A closer look to the Dragon Ball Z "Part" UK release
As it's been pointed out on Amazon UK reviews it's really just the Orange Bricks re-released in Singles but I always wondered if there was more to it, no.. It's just what it is. Re: Ocean Studios' "Dragon Ball Kai" dub seems to be coming.
So is there a release date to air on TV or for a Blu-ray edition?
Ocean Kai is beyond delayed with Kai 2.0 out already, BoG, RoF and Super yet to be dubbed.. if they're going to dub them that is.

Re: Could FUNimation someday release the Big Green Dub on DV
Since this was more of a European release, wouldn't it make more sense for a European company to release? But yeah, not much of a market in Funimation's North American demographs. I could imagine Anime LTD making a Collector's Edition release of this but the licence in UK belongs to Manga UK and th...

Emon's new DVD re-release of Dr. Slump in Spain
While back in 2012 they seemed to have cancelled it it's now become available again with a new print and slightly different (no steelbook or fancy packaging -- which I think the original prints had). Re: Could FUNimation someday release the Big Green Dub on DV
Anyway i don't think AB Groupe would be interested (are they even still a company?) They are now why would you think they wouldn't be any more? You can't really compare the RTD set to something like this. FUNimation always owned that dub, so they didn't have to obtain the rights from anyone...

Re: Is Dragon Ball "badass"?
Well, despite that it's a kids cartoon it has some really exciting moments but "badass"? Goku going Super Saiyan, Gohan getting pissed and turning Super Saiyan 2 and Boo's dog getting shot while he snaps out.. Nah, these are just shocking moments in their lives actually. There is one badas...

Could FUNimation someday release the Big Green Dub on DVD?
Think of it like what they've done with the Dragon Ball Z: Rock the Dragon Edition , they included the entire "Ocean Dub" in one whole set ( Z Episodes 1-53 and Z Movies 1-3) which I think a lot of fans out there loved it so given how lucrative Dragon Ball Z is to FUNimation couldn't FUNi ...

Re: Dragon Ball: Movie 1 - Big Green Dub Trailer
Wasn't there some thread a while ago by some guy who said he had these DB Big Green movies? You might be thinking of the Z movies 1-9 plus the Z TV Specials 1-2, now that's something which is available out there and easily acquirable (digitally, that is). I wonder if AB Groupe has this stored somew...

Re: To The People That Switched From Dub To Sub...
Pretty much instant. Whether it be the games, series or music I generally prefer the original Japanese track because the voice acting is far superior as well as the songs are stellar quality. Now, it's true that dubs have gotten a lot better than they were back in the 90's so it's understandable tha...

Re: Dragon Ball: Movie 1 - Big Green Dub Trailer
The music in that promo isn't crappy at all. It's crappy in the sense that it doesn't fit with Dragon Ball and so the ideal soundtrack to use it would have been Kikuchi's which they did according to Puto who's seen it. Lucky him. Think of it if someone placed Faulconer or even the horrendous Menza ...

Wait until August to watch Kai 1.0 and with the replacement score, plus for £28? Not a very good deal at all.

Dragon Ball: Movie 1 - Big Green Dub Trailer
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inci9nBXUYA The Old Bastard is definitely there but what's odd about it is that the background music isn't the original instead some crappy replacement, which is strange considering the actual Z movies had the authentic score featured. I'd really like to watch the who...
