Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Resurrection '
I like hearing casual opinions too. Although in this case I think it's easy to contaminate the person's opinion with leading questions, the kind of way you present the information, etc. Still you can beat 99% of the people who see this movie will be going in cold without the huge amount of lore know...

Re: Difference between suppression and holding back?
There is a difference between suppression and holding back. But for certain fights like Goku vs Recoome, Burter, and Jeice, Goku lowered his power level down to 5000 and still defeated them without much effort. He was raising it in a split second so that wasn't a matter of holding back. He was just...

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Wow...so basically...Buu is a psychopath  ... He basically has no empathy, no sense of right and wrong, or any moral compass or anything like that. He just operates based on what he likes, what he has affection for, and darn the consequences of whatever he does... That's...so disturbing. I'l...

Re: Would a powerlifter or an MMA expert have a higher PL in
Would it really matter? Battle Powers are irrelevant in such a scenario because they only measure ki and not physical strength, skill, etc. So if you don't know how to utilize the energy, it's not going to be a factor in who is "stronger". I don't think that's true. Radditz's scouter read...

Re: *Minor Spoiler Topic...if it is one*
How come Goku and Vegeta don't fight at full power against Whis? We know that it's probably to keep the SSGSS a surprise (I REALLY hate that name), but in universe why hold back? Shouldn't they fight all out? I'm not saying they'd win, but I'm sure they'd do better using all their power instead of ...

The whole point of the movie was not power but their weaknesses with personalities though.
Still they could have included both.

I don't know the exact details so I'll let somebody else answer that, but it was in a magazine or something promoting the movie.

Re: Did VegettoEX just post a minor spoiler?
It was revealed in the promotional material.
Of course, some people asked, "Why did they have to go reveal that before the movie even came out?" But it's been officially revealed.

Isn't it possible they create some sort of ki barrier to shield themselves from the effects of outer space? Or to carry some oxygen with them for a while?

Re: What if Buu never absorbed Piccolo?
Buu would have won. Instead of Vegetto, there would have been Piccoku fusion because Goku wouldn't have been hesitating to fuse with Satan (that hesitation resulting in accidentally stalling for enough time to notice Vegeta arriving), but rather he would have been deciding on fusing with Piccolo. T...

What if Buu never absorbed Piccolo?
He absorbed him for his smarts, but how exactly did it affect things? Clearly there was a reason because Buu thought it was necessary. But what was it?
What would have been different if he didn't absorb him?

Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Resurrection '
:?: The "Blue SSJ God" is basically "Full Power SSJ God", right? And a much more important question. Why would Goku be excited about meeting and fighting Uub in the end of DBZ? Uub is at Kid Buu's level. Goku knew about Beerus, Whis, and SSJ God Vegeta years before the end of DB...

Trunks killed them. The Z fighters here are holding back to avoid that exact thing from happening Simply knocking them out would require even less energy and stamina. And stalling them wouldn't require significantly more energy than just fighting them. That's not true. Go ahead and try to stab some...

Re: Why did Vegeta turn to stone when he self-destructed?
Another question is why this is the only self-destruction that had the character turn to stone/ash. i don't remember any other self-detruction that worked. The one in question didn't work either - Buu survived. The Saibaman against Yamcha actually succeeded though. The Saibaman self destruct was di...
