Re: "Future" Trunks Arc Timeline & Paradox Discussion Thread
Sounds like a reach to me. Continuity here is where an official work is on the timeline compared to other works. Minor differences in telling have nothing to do with continuity. Resurrection of F the movie and the Resurrection of F DB Super Arc aren't in different continuities just because they hav...

Re: "Future" Trunks Arc Timeline & Paradox Discussion Thread
That's not the definition of different continuities. No, it's not the literal definition, but it covers the point of it: --"the unbroken and consistent existence or operation of something over a period of time." --"the maintenance of continuous action and self-consistent detail in th...

Re: "Future" Trunks Arc Timeline & Paradox Discussion Thread
No, the manga and anime aren't different continuities. It's the same exact story, with minor differences in the telling. They are different continuities, actually. It doesn't matter how similar the stories are, the alternate telling of events is practically the definition of different continuities....

Re: "Future" Trunks Arc Timeline & Paradox Discussion Thread
The manga merely filled in the gaps. I'm not sure how you think that Trunks just randomly found out that the Supreme Kai was killed by a someone who isn't Dabura or apart of Babidi's group, but thought nothing of it. This isn't rocket science. He died after Babidi's invasion. The manga and the anim...

Re: "Future" Trunks Arc Timeline & Paradox Discussion Thread
He isn't stated to have a different motive in the anime, so no. The U7 Supreme Kai died as shown, then Black killed all of the others. He didn't die until Black killed him since Trunks never stated or hinted that the Supreme Kai died fighting Dabura like in the manga. Go back and look at Episode 49...

The wish wasn't to make a copy of everyone in Universe 7's Earth. The wish was simply to restore the Earth that once existed in Universe 6.

Re: "Future" Trunks Arc Timeline & Paradox Discussion Thread
I disagree very much with that interpretation; I think it's reading way too much into his words. It's not supported by the context, or anything else in his story. He said "It was all brought about by this Time Ring.... Whatever may happen in the past world, it has no effect on my current self....

Re: "Future" Trunks Arc Timeline & Paradox Discussion Thread
A God killing another God affects the time stream. When Beerus killed Black, he erased Black's version of the main timelines history and replaced it, hence he did technically split timelines. Nothing implies that Beerus was making things up. A lot of things imply he was making things up, actually. ...

Re: "Future" Trunks Arc Timeline & Paradox Discussion Thread
Black and Present Zamasu are the same exact person. Both are stated to come from the main timeline. Black is simply from further up the stream than the Present Zamasu that we see. A God killing another God affects the time stream. When Beerus killed Black, he erased Black's version of the main timel...

Re: Janemba is overrated
Janemba is confirmed stronger than Hildegarn. That specific tidbit on Janemba's strength wasn't deleted specifically. The entire website was deleted along with everything on it. Takao's statement proves nothing as he simply labeled a trend, not any sort of fact and that does not under any circumstan...

Re: Could kid Goten and Trunks beat Namek-era Freeza?
It doesn't matter if Kaioken is a technique and not a state of being. Goku wasn't using it. Beerus stated that the man that was right in front of him as he was at the time was weaker than Frieza. Nothing more. He was not using Kaioken. People need to stop reaching. Frieza would murder Goten and Trun...

Re: What's going on in Cell's timeline?
Timeline 1- future Cells' timeline Timeline 2- Alternate main timeline Timeline 3- future Trunks' timeline Timeline 4- Main timeline shown for most of the series Timeline 5- Split Main timeline that was created by Beerus killing Zamasu This would be the case since there are only 5 time rings. In fut...

Re: Dragon Ball Super: Power Level Discussion Thread
People really need to stop with this "2 base theory" nonsense. "Saiyan beyond God" isn't a transformation. It's a state of being. It represents any Saiyan that has obtained the power of god and retained it. Base saiyan+normal ki=normal base saiyan Base saiyan+god ki=super saiyan ...

Black's arrival
We now know that Black was around on Future Earth when Trunks fought Dabura. What do you think would've happened if Black came around during the reign of the Androids? Do you think that he would have tried to align with them due to a mutual habit of killing humans or would he have just not cared and...

Re: Dragon Ball Super: Power Level Discussion Thread
I think you are mixing the anime and manga. In the manga they still have SSG and its above everything except SSB. In the anime it's the opposite where SSG level is lower than current SSJ with the only thing about SSJ3 is SSB. I don't even know what you're trying to say here. If Goku uses Super Saiy...

Re: Dragon Ball Super: Power Level Discussion Thread
No there are people who feel they have permanently absorbed it making their base form and subsequent SSJ forms a God tier level in terms of power. Basically every SSJ form is now stronger than SSG in the anime. This doesn't address anything that I said, nor does it make sense. Goku absorbed Super S...

Re: Dragon Ball Super: Power Level Discussion Thread
So... Zamasu when watching SSGSS Goku vs Hit saying: " How could a mortal have obtained the power of a god? " Pretty much confirms the two base theory, right? If Goku has using God Ki all the time, when he fought as a Super Saiyan 2, Zamasu could have felt it, but he only made this commen...

Re: Was the two base/suppressed ki theory finally confirmed?
all thats stated in the episode is that black currently isnt a problem since goku is far stronger than what he showed, which is a reference to super saiyan blue, not that he was holding back in lesser forms. there is no further implication. this is the most pathetic case of confirmation bias that i ...
