Babidi and Boo showing up were probably the most exciting part of the trailer for me. The Boo arc deserves to have more impact to the lore of the series than it ended up having. It should be just as monumental of an event as the Freeza arc was.

In the film at least, it seems to follow the anime's overall line of logic of base Gohan and Piccolo being comparable, themselves comparable to base Goku and Vegeta who are far and away above Super Saiyan Trunks and Goten. I don't think Goku and Vegeta got 50x stronger from the Boo arc to Superhero...

Toyotaro generally doesn't seem to hold base Piccolo in high regard. He's repeatedly put below SS Goku and Vegeta in the U6 arc and doesn't have any other feats past this point to contradict it. I wouldn't doubt it if he were weaker than the kids, he already was weaker than them in the Boo arc.

A lot of credible people in the community are backing this "Shin/kid Goku magical grand tour adventure" web anime plot, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's true. Sounds interesting enough. I guess we'll see on October 12th.

I'm guessing #100 will be the end of the retelling and the tease of the new arc. #98 should end with Orange Piccolo going giant at this rate, #99 with the Beast transformation and some of the fight, and #100 wraps things up with a tease at the end.
