I think it's pretty clear now that Zamasu did in fact create Black in some way. Gokuu and Whis even speculated on it. While it's not clear if it was with the Super Dragon Balls or not, I think the series has shown that Zamasu made Black through some method that gave them a similar Ki.

A sword made of katchin should be able to rival it.

What if Gokuu Black invaded the GT-verse at the start of the series, before the Pilaf gang make their wish. He would be starting at a level that is "somewhat stronger" than SSJ3 Gokuu from DBS, but could of course become stronger. Zamasu is watching and can appear if he wants.

I think the latest episode of super warrants giving this thread a bump!

We now know that Black and Zamasu are different people. This lends credence to my theory that Zamasu created Black, though that has yet to be explicitly confirmed. What are everyone's thoughts on this matter?

The hostility shown to the two-base theory borders on the irrational. It's the best explanation anyone has come up with thus far. How would Future Trunks reach God tier? He trained with Kaioshin, he mentioned, but that made him competitive with Dabura not too many years before Black showed up, so I ...

It's just art style. If you look at stuff set in that period but animated in later eras (Dr. Slump stuff, the "Hey Son Gokuu" ending with Kid Gokuu, etc), Kid Gokuu is quite slim.

So basically... er... this is very confusing. :lol: Black kills everyone except people from the end of GT , but there are Z and other people there...? Gotta love the human mind. So, after watching episode 53, I don't believe Zamasu is Gokuu Black. Rather, I believe he created Black. In fact, I'm almost certain of it. Why? Because during the episode, Gowasu is very heavy handed in explaining how Kaioshin create, rather than destroy. He really tries to impress this on Zamasu ...

Well, yeah. But I think the question they're asking is why they're less evil.

For me:

Base > SSJ > SSJ2 > SSJ3 > Beyond God > SSJG > SSJB > SSJBKKx10

I'm not sure why people find the idea of two bases confusing. It's just Gokuu/Vegeta turning their God Ki on and off. They can be sensed when it's off, they can't be sensed when it's on.
