Re: Digest Edition (Sōshūhen) Discussion Thread
Nah, Amazon Japan. I'm considering sending a few back because they aren't in the greatest condition, but I also know that beggars can't be choosers here!

Re: Digest Edition (Sōshūhen) Discussion Thread
You're usually in the clear if you pre-order early. I fell behind so I had to hunt a few down!

Re: Digest Edition (Sōshūhen) Discussion Thread
Anybody having trouble getting ahold of volume 14? I preordered obviously, but seems to be back ordered and sold out? These sell out extremely quickly. It's tough to get ahold of any of them at this point. Legend 16 is sold out already, before it's even been released. As much as I like these, I'm r...

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 67
In the videos? I haven't seen that many try to go that far other than turning the brightness up so much that they aren't as noticeable. People do tend to remove those with screenshots, but those look awful too.omegalucas wrote:Overblown colors aside, haven't them removed the highlights on most shots?

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 67
Hatano and Kaizawa Yukio both did excellent work on Saint Seiya Omega. I browsed through their episodes for the sake of research and they are very well done. I'd even go so far as to say that Saint Seiya Omega might've been where Kaizawa's modern style really blossomed. Fun fact: the two of them act...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Staff Roundup
Really enjoyed your round-up videos. They seemed like they had a fair bit of research and effort put into them. Hope you plan on continuing the series. I am! :P I ran into a little bit of a hold-up with one I'd been working on previously, but I'm going to be working on another until that ...

This scene has been throwing me off for a little bit now:
http://i.imgur.com/x3vgsL2.jpg

http://i.imgur.com/hHOGzRq.png
The second image of Vegeta especially looks kind of like Kitano to me, but with corrections. I'm not sure if the whole scene was handled ...

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 64
Seems wasteful to have that other thread around in that case. I don't think so. Like Ajay said, that's probably the best place to talk about the NewType "upcoming staff" lists. It's also useful if you're interested in discussing roles not mentioned much here if at all, like scriptwriters ...

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 64
Does anyone have any examples of Tsuji key animation and not corrections? I was wondering how good she would be if she were to step down from chief supervisor. The best place to look would probably be episode 22. The staff list was pretty small and Yashima did most of the key animation, but she was...

Re: Fan Works Explosion
I still need to get around to collecting everyone's week three contributions, but week four of #DrawDBWeekly is happening and we actually have two things going on this time: Vegeta is the winner of our character poll and we are also doing bonus drawings to celebrate the release of Xenoverse 2 if an...

For those who have been interested, #DrawDBWeekly Week 3 has begun, and Kame Sen'nin is the character we are focusing on this week. Week two was great! Thanks to everyone who chipped in!

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 61
I hope Tsuji's corrections can pull through next. He/she really makes some episodes that would look like shit normally look okay for the most part. I'm also hoping for a small Higashide cut of Trunks fighting. I think that if these 2 things happen the episode will at least be tolerable. I actually ...

Re: Fan Works Explosion
Wow, all these pieces of fan art are amazing! Might I request any of you to make fan art of "Raging" Super Saiyan Blue Goku and "Super Trunks" from Dragon Ball Super Episode 61? This might be a good place to plug the ongoing Imgur album for #DrawDBWeekly week two! Lots of people...

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 61
You can always ask Otsuka Ken on Twitter if it's Shimanuki, since he was the storyboard artist for that episode. I just want to warn everyone to not ask Ootsuka questions on Twitter involving his work on Super. I made that mistake a few months ago because I still can't read Japanese yet, but in his...

Re: Fan Works Explosion
Welp, I know this is really quick, but I'm going to just go ahead and end the poll now. Future Trunks has such a big lead that I can't see him losing at this point. So the rules are the same as they were last week! Post your Future Trunks drawings on Twitter using #DrawDBWeekly or post them he...
