Re: The All-Purpose "Translation Request" Thread
This please: http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll242/SSj_Rambo/training_58-59.png In particular I'm interested in what is being said by Goku's weight training section. The most I can really "2 tons", "training!" and what is really catching my interest which is what looks like &q...

Re: The All-Purpose "Versus" Thread
Future Gohan vs. Mystic Gohan Balance power levels. Who wins? Mystic Gohan wins. He has the advantage seeing as he has two arms while future gohan only has one. Also I dont think future gohan ever mastered super saiyan, so the strain will eventually catch up with him while mystic gohan has no such ...

Re: Who's Stronger: Janemba or Hirudegarn.
And where is it stated that Buu absorbs the knowledge and memories of the people he absorbs? When Buu absorbs Piccolo, he starts quoting him during his fight with Gohan. He also starts using Gohan's name, which he never used before. When he absorbs Gohan, he reveals that he knows that Goku, Vegeta,...

Re: Who's Stronger: Janemba or Hirudegarn.
I just checked...and I was kinda off. He just says his time is limited before having to wait another hr. But like KOSDH says, he should retain full knowledge of everything Gotenks always knows. Also, this is pretty interesting: Trunks: “…But its weak point is time…See…We’re only able to become it f...

Re: Who's Stronger: Janemba or Hirudegarn.
That's a good point. Boo does tell Gohan he has 10 mins left during their battle, so he definitely stretched the fusion time. That's not known though. We don't know how long Super Buu's and Gotenks fight was. It might have been less than 15 minutes and Super Buu would assume that's how long Gotenks...

Maybe its just me, but that's what it seemed like when he questioned SSJ Gotenks speed.DBZGTKOSDH wrote: Correct me if I'm wrong, but Piccolo never showed any doubts about SS Goten against Innocent Boo.

Perhaps I overstated. He's stronger than Goku, just not by much, since Piccolo still wasn't too sure he could take care of fatso.DBZGTKOSDH wrote:How is that a fact?kuartus4 wrote:There's also the fact that SSJ Gotenks(pre)~SSJ3 Goku.

Re: Who's Stronger: Janemba or Hirudegarn.
Quite a few sequences can be looked at that way, yes. Also, ridiculous power-up's are rarely logical. Piccolo was wrong, but still notices a decent power-up from Gotenks. With that, we know he has an idea about his power before the training. There's also Trunks believing Base Gotenks has reached a ...

Re: Who's Stronger: Janemba or Hirudegarn.
When Gotenks first forms in the rosat, Piccolo actually thinks they've powered-up enough to stand a chance against Super Boo. Piccolo was, of course, way off on that--but if anything, it should still place the fused kids comfortably stronger than Piccolo. I seriously doubt he thinks Gotenks has a c...

Re: Who's Stronger: Janemba or Hirudegarn.
Base Gotenks was stronger than Piccolo..... He wasn't though, not even post -RoSaT (Room of Spirit and Time) . When Gotenks reverted to base inside Buu, Piccolo came out dominant in B uu, meaning he was stronger. Not true. What happened is that Gotenks turned back into Goten and Trunks individually...

Re: The All-Purpose "Versus" Thread
It's a transformation. Since when has Goku ever been able to stack a transformation and kaio-ken? Going by manga alone there's nothing that says he can't and since they work differently I'm sure they can be used together. Where the heck is THAT stated? You're essentially saying kaio-ken can somehow...

Ultimate Goku vs Super Buu Beers says this about Goku: http://i.imgur.com/LKCpxLS.jpg Since the kaioshin ritual is all about bringing out all of one's latent power, I imagine Mystic Goku might be a beast. Maybe on par with mystic gohan? Plus without any strain he could use his power to the fullest ...

Re: When Goku arrived on Namek (Power Level)
If you recall though, when he first judges Goku's strength, based on his ability to take out Baata and Recoome, he initially believes him to be able to go to 60,000 at most Chapter: 283 (DBZ 89), P11.1-3 Ginyu: "In my estimation, his ability looks like it's about 60,000." Jheese: "Si...

Re: When Goku arrived on Namek (Power Level)
The reason that Ginyu didn't start reading Goku's battle powers off till it hit 90,000 was due to him starting to exceed Ginyu's predicted levels. Likewise, remember that Goku still wasn't in a powered up state prior to using the Kaiou-ken. He was making quick bursts of strength, but he was still f...

Re: When Goku arrived on Namek (Power Level)
I believe that the equivalence between kaiokien and kaiokenx2 was broken when goku invented kaiokenx3. IOW, the only reason they were the same thing was because the only kaioken multiplier that existed was 2. That goes out the window when higher multipliers come along. That being said, I believe Gok...

Re: Are power levels linear?
I'm thinking that the kaioken technique is evidence for power levels being linear. With kaioken x3 Goku went from 8000 to 24,000, and kaioken x3 was supposed to triple his power. So going from 8,000 to 24,000 corresponds to a tripling of battle power. Sounds linear to me. Also kaioken x4 took goku t...
