Re: Dragon Ball GT dubbed NEPs with Japanese music
I'm not very familiar with the GT score. Is there an officially released NEP music track somewhere? Or maybe that guy kenisu who documents all the BGM would be able to identify it or even isolate it for us.

Re: Petition for the rest of the Toonami dub post-RTD Editio
Well that's why I feel like we have to show them that the demand is there with this petition. It's a huge gap in their catalogue of DBZ releases that ought to be filled.

Re: Dragon ball Z custom DVD cases
I'm guessing the breakdown for episodes would look like this: Mondo Cool Edition 54-102 + Bardock Special (Toonami Version) Cat Loves Food Edition 103-179 + Trunks Special (Toonami Version) Double Ascended Edition 180-276 + Lord Slug (Toonami Version) Of course, I imagine that if they ever release t...

Dragon Ball GT dubbed NEPs with Japanese music
So I just learned that the original GT singles, among all the GT rap included with it, has dubbed NEPs that could sync with the Dragon Box for GT. The only thing is that these weer done before Funimation's push to make a dub track with the Japanese BGM for the shows so the music accompanying it is M...

Re: Think FUNi will ever target the super-cheap market with
I'm still pining for a bulk set for the Toonami version post-Ocean dub that falls in line with the Rock the Dragon set. It would be the same kind of pseudo-collector package with maybe the same coffee table style packaging and it would include all the original edited episodes that were shown on Toon...

Re: Question about Rock the Dragon Movies
So there aren't any instances of "alternate" dialogue instead of outright removal of dialogue?

Question about Rock the Dragon Movies
I asked about Tree of Might a few weeks ago, but I had an thought about Dead Zone and World's Strongest. I know they both have a few lines and explicit shots edited out for content, but are there any instances where the dialogue is just watered down from the uncut version, not unlike the first two S...

Re: "The Majin Boo Arc is a subtle parody of the rest of DBZ
Hey, I said it, aw-right. But yes, all points indicate Toriyama is making a joke out of his own series in the Boo arc. It's harder to see in the anime, where the tone was more serious. Especially when you watched the dub version on Toonami with the score playing all the time. The Boo arc was the mo...

"The Majin Boo Arc is a subtle parody of the rest of DBZ."
I came across this paraphrased quote from one of you guys in some other recent thread that I can't remember. I do remember some of the good points that were being made in support of the statement. -Two kids are born SSJs while usually somebody has to die to trigger the transformation -Gohan is reall...

Questions about Boo Kai
This might be a dumb question, but I don't watch Kai as much as I rewatch Z. Why did Toei not bring back Q-TEC and put out the Blu-rays in widescreen? And I suppose the ugly green tint is a result of no Q-TEC?

Re: An odd DBZ VCD.
Speedy Video dubbed the 13 DBZ movies into broken english using Malaysian VAs and is known by fans as the "Speedy Dub." They are notoriously bad at both voiceover and cover art. Don't be surprised by anything on the covers because they don't even know what they put on there half the time. ...

Re: Unreleased Big Green Dubs (DB 1-3, DBZ 10-13, GT Special
So I've found copies of the first DB Movies from somebody, but the third one is still out there along with the GT special. I'm going to consider the DBZ movies to be a myth until I see evidence of them from here on out.
Does anybody have a tape of either of the two outstanding features?

Unreleased Big Green Dubs (DB 1-3, DBZ 10-13, GT Special)
So I found a thread from a few years ago that got the kibosh for posting links to some Big Green dubs that the mods did not like. Sadly, that's been my only lead on tracking down the Big Green dubs for DB Movies 1-3, DBZ Movies 10-13, and the GT Special. If anybody can put me through to these or to ...
