Yeah, although I surely they could have cut down on the scenes and written in a monologue, but alas...can't change it now...

Yeah, I was going to bring that up to you on Skype but you were not around.

Anyhow, the second half of this episode was action-packed. Very fun, although the Bulma filler crept back in a little, sadly. Anyhow, the Kaiô-ken scene had some great music so I can't wait to see more of it next week!

Funimation was never going to get a 1:1 source, anything who thinks that needs their head examined. Why do you keep saying that? Do you think Toei just doesn't care enough? Or do you think it was an intentional decision? Is it because you think FUNimation is incapable? I didn't read all of your pos...

The characters are now all customizable with different attacks and ultimates. A wonderful move on Spike’s part. We now no longer need 4 Gokus or Vegetas instead we just change the move pool and costumes accordingly. You can boost your characters attack, defense and KI through these different tiles....

I think using the Kai VAs in the games now has more to do with providing a more unified front from here on out.

Well, Toriyama didn't draw the comic version of the special. He passed it onto somebody who actually remembered the plot.

Did she play Arale in the anime? I know that Brice Armstrong played Senbei.
Nope, Palencia is relatively new the anime (I think she began a year or two back).

I'm glad they went with LK. His Freeza's spot on to the personality and doesn't have to rely on the 'Linda Young' gimmick, akin Masako's Gokû or Gohan.

To Vegetto he is.
A Vegetto who can use Super Saiyan 2 and 3? Sure.

But from the small glimpse we saw in the opening chapter, they're pretty even.

Damn Mike, between this and the games you're going to have to take a week off of work...maybe two!! Say, will Jeff be on the podcast review for this? I know he was on the first Orange Brick review so I'd like to hear his thoughts on this one, too. Speakin' of Jeff--and I know he has an account here ...

Broli isn't exactly a grasshopper.

And he isn't exactly the main character, or antagonist.

Super Saiyan Vegetto punched out a guy who was tearing the universe apart by screaming.
Than this would all imply than this Broli is more powerful than Boohan, assuming the creators recognize that scene as canon.

It's a shônen! They're all about badass one-up-manship!!

That being said, I suspect Vegetto is restricting himself to Super Saiyan for the sake of fun. And pride.
