Re: So everyone's seen DBZ Kai, was it worth it for you?

Because of Kai, my partner is now willing Dragon Ball Z, and actually finds it exciting , dramatic and interesting. Do, it is definitely worth it. Admittedly he will never watch the original DBZ from start to finish but oh well.

Re: Watch with parents/relatives

Because I used to get my Mum to stop the recording of episodes during the Furiza saga every morning for a good long time back in 2001, she 'got into it' in the sense she'd ask if Furiza was going to die soon and mention how she hated him. But before and after nobody above my age (in my family except...

I always laugh when I remember that region encoding of DVDs and locking of players is actually a problem in the US.

(when George Lucas found out about it he filed a lawsuit and lost). I'd really like to see some proof of this. Anyway, this was always one of those things that made me giggle like hell when I was thirteen and first discovered some review of it (with pictures) on the net. Never seen it, and don't re...

Re: Buying DBZ figures off of ebay from Hong Kong

I wouldn't recommend buying DBZ figures from Hong Kong even if the seller has many positive reviews. I bought some of the Banpresto figures from Hong Kong and they were bootleg. I questioned the seller about it, and the seller told me to keep the figures and refunded my money. That kind of makes me...

I've been meaning to ask this for a while, but why does the person who started the thread just put the name in without contributing anything? I mean, if you haven't seen the episode or have nothing to say about it do you need to be the person to create the thread? (And yes, I'm aware that I don't re...

Re: Turning the girlfriend into a fan?

My boyfriend watched on and off when it first aired on TV here, but couldn't get into it because of the horrible pacing and weeks it took to get anywhere. He has no interest in the series because of that. However, we've started watching the movies stoned and... they're a hit. You should try getting...

My cousin went to Japan a few years ago and picked up a copy of Weekly Action (a porn manga), where the fusion dance is performed by a fat woman and a scarily skinny woman to become a very beautiful woman.

So. Yeah.
