And do I spot a sign that says Crane on it? Even if they don't play a large part, could this mean mention of Tenshinhan and Chiaotzu? ^_^ I just hate raining on this, but... Y'know those large iron structures they use to lift a movie camera into the air? Surely you've seen them, sometimes the movie...

On the gi - wow. I hope that looks better in motion than it does in fuzzy images, cuz...ugh. :x

Also, why is there a Super Saiyan 3 Goku cutout? o.O;

And do I spot a sign that says Crane on it? Even if they don't play a large part, could this mean mention of Tien and Chiaotzu? ^_^

I don't think they really meant alien like 'extraterrestrial' in that line. Think about the edits Toonami required then - they couldn't explain that he was God and as such had divine powers probably. What alien meant there, I think, was that he had 'amazing' or 'strange' powers. Alien doesn't have t...

Tell them that VegettoEX himself has told you there's not really a difference. If they still gripe, then they're lame. If they don't know who VegettoEX is, then they don't have internet capability or fail as DB fans. That might have worked in 1999-2000, but I don't think so today :P. Honestl...

Like I said, at least it tried to fit in with the normal Kenshin style of story - the Shaman thing for the final arc was just something they pulled out of their ass. As for those DBZ X-Mas pics...I got nothing. There was an old thread for them when I first joined, but I dunno if it was delete...

Kamehameha Question

I had almost forgotten about this, this question came to me late...early this morning actually. :P When performing the Kamehameha, which side of the body do the hands go to, the left or the right? Is there a proper side, or is it a user type thing, where Goku will perform it one way as opposed to ho...

It does annoy me a little when people try to mock me for my anime obsession, cuz it's for 'Little Kids' in their opinion, but it's not because I don't think it is - it's cuz these are the same people who giggle at every word out of Spongebob's mouth. As per the stocking of manga in the kids s...

As bad as that arc was, I much preferred it to the final arc of the anime, the whole Shaman thing. >.> Yeah, I just learned about the lover's thing a month or so ago. Read about it in the Febuary issue of the English Shonen Jump, and then that one member here (I forget his name) had that proposal vi...

Not even. Christianity has been in Japan since the 1550s.
Oh, my mistake. That would explain one of the filler arcs in RuroKen then. Thanks for that Rocketman. :D

They still have Christmas though. I assume it's just something they absorbed from dealing with the US.

Besides, the pics you speak of cater to the Santa-side of Christmas, which is the money side of the holidays, no religious conotations there.

I have the set, so I suppose I could look later, if no one else responds.

It's gotta be either Vegeta or Goku though, cuz other than a short fight with Piccolo, he never really fights anyone else in his Final Form.

That's the reverse of what I sometimes think - a lot of American cartoons are made just for the toys. It's CGI, but Cars anyone? (Not that I didn't love the movie, but Disney's gone psychotic).

Personally, I never refer to Dragon Ball as a cartoon but not because I think it insults it or whatever - it's just the term that is most commonly used and what I got used to calling it. I don't throw a shit-fit when someone else calls it a cartoon either like some people do, although...I used to, b...

I personally will be watching the vid, but you probably lost most of your potential audience when you mentioned the remastered DVDs. They're not to popular, especially around this forum. :P

Are you looking at the right one then Rocketman? We're talking about the one in the second post, from Kaboom.

Either you're looking at the wrong one, or your mind isn't steeped as deep in the gutter as some of the rest of ours are.

I'm having flashbacks to the Dragonball Ecks thread here.

I second the City battle idea, but IMO the best place to do that is the last battle of the Androids/Cell Saga, with Future Trunks against Imperfect Cell. Cell more or less leaves you alone, giving you plenty of free time to destroy some buildings to get the Dragon Balls. And this is also one of the ...

He has said that he will move it to Veoh if it doesn't work out, but he's got over 1,000 subscribers on YouTube. You can't blame him for not wanting to abandon the work he's done there.
