Regarding the afterlife...

'Twas a long time since I've started my own thread, but I guess it's about time I've done so. I just so happened to catch a few seconds of the Dragon Ball Z dub on Cartoon Network, an episode during the Saiyan story arc while the characters are all training. Son Goku tells that little helper to tell...

Son Goku's gi tends to change from time to time. For instance, he is shown wearing an orange gi during a colored segment of the original manga in their little encounter with Pilaf, yet on the next page he is shown with his original blue. I posted something about that about a year ago when I got the ...

Mmm...interesting notion, Mr. Satan... A sequel to Dragon Ball done by Toriyama is kinda iffy in my opinion. Kinda like how bands make come-backs after years of hiatus and suck. It just wouldn't be the same. But Pilaf would certainly make the perfect final villain. After all, he is the first tue ene...

I never really put much thought into it when I watched the dub. In fact, I never even realized they called it the "next dimension" until I started going to this forum. I guess our generation's become pretty desensitized to violence and death so I already knew the characters were dy...

Well, the first sentence could be read like "I read (red) the newspaper every day," if you think of it as referring to a specific time, like "During the summer, I read the newspaper every day." Or I'm wrong. And Dragon Ball has those small katakana and/or hiragana or whatno...

The Vegeta and Nappa one was pretty cool, as was the one with Lunch. But out of all of those, Kame-sennin stood out as the best.

I had a screenshot, perhaps a trading card or something  , of that scene with Piccolo being shot by Freeza. The angle makes it look like he's blocking it from Son Goku or something, but in the manga, Freeza just picks him off.

I guess you just get sick of coming up with stories and drawing the same stuff after you've been doing a series for 10+ years. What I'm more interested for the future of Dragon Ball would be a complete re-release of the entire manga, on very high quality paper, the size of the Shounen Jump magazines...

I'm sure Deus has a few. :)

I think I may have a picture of the gang in a Christmas-themed picture. Oh, also that one cover of the Dragon Ball (or was it Z) Viz translation. That is, before the switch to "Shonen Jump."

Well, of course one could become stronger through training. My view of the whole Super Saiyan transformations (as I've posted before in many threads) is that it's basically a sort of power "reserve" that one can tap into, not necessarily just a specific boost. A Saiyan can train to increas...

Djinn? That's pretty...weird. I guess it would kind of make sense, seeing as Buu is a magical creature much like the djinn. Majin Buu still sounds cooler. Those crazy Viz people and their noncomformity. :x

Exactly. Buu could regenerate as long as some remnant of his body remained existent. But the Genki Dama pretty much reduced him to pieces that couldn't really be considered Buu anymore.

That DBZ theme was pretty cheesey, yet oddly....satisfying.

Speaking of other dub themes, I think Naruto's theme is pretty cool (at least from what I've seen). Especially when they get into that whole guitar-tapping part, even though it's obviously computer MIDI or something.
