4 galaxies or 4 quadrants of galaxies?

And is there any primary canon info on it i.e. the manga etc. or is it just the guidebooks?

Re: Raging Vegeta Ssj2 (DB Super) vs Super Vegetto (DB Super

I've still yet to be shown why merely hypothetical forms of characters should have anything to do with it. What about Goku musing "merging with Vegeta might not be enough" instantly translates to "Vegetto would be a tiny fraction of Beerus' power even if he had and used Super Saiyan ...

So, Kaioshin is weaker than base Goku... who is weaker than Freeza... who is weaker than Kaioshin...

Are you saying this is just a case of rock paper scissors?

Re: Romanizations in the manga/Super

Wouldn't "Gokuu" be a more direct romanization? Also is it Goku-uh or just a longer U?

Re: Romanizations in the manga/Super

iirc the austronaut stuff was from filler. Something's telling me Goku is on something else but I might just be tripping. Do you remember the chapter and page is your image from?

Romanizations in the manga/Super

The only ones I know of are Bulma and Kulilin
I can vaguely remember Goku also but I'm not sure. Are there more?

Re: Why did Funi change Kuririn to "Krillin"

I tend to write it as "Kulilin" as that's the way it was spelt in the manga. http://imgur.com/akvd6E7.png Sometimes I'll pronounce it like that, but most of the time I'll just say "Krillin", because despite not being the official Romanisation, it's not exactly wrong. Looks like ...

Re: The All-Purpose "Translation Request" Thread

Herms this isn't dragon ball related but I was wondering if you can translate this as literal as possible: この世における最強生物
Some people are saying World's Strongest Creature isn't what's said at all

Re: Dragon Ball Super: Power Level Discussion Thread

Was the Freeza > Base Saiyans line kept? Yes... This time, Beerus is even harsher on base Goku: "it seems impossible for you to have defeated Freeza" (same line as before, but now with 到底) Excellent. It's pretty much a fact now. Feats >>>> Statements Base Goten > #18

Skin color wise he's tan. Tan is close to Black. His facial features are nowhere close to an Asian's

Goku looks more black than he does asian. Goku in no way resembles an asian person. A hispanic person would play him perfectly

As much as I've always wanted to own a scouter (calibrated so not every I use it on is a 5.0000001, 5.000000010002) you could do so much stuff with Whis' staff

Re: Buu or Boo?

Herm's name pun roundup makes it seem like Boo stayed as Boo in the Japanese but since apparently they changed it, I'ma go with Buu In the song it's ブー and for the DB character it's ブウ, but both of these are romanized as "Buu" (or Bū if you want), so it's not a change in the same way thin...

Re: Buu or Boo?

Here's how I justify my preferred spellings. The Disney song's name (as written on official Japanese Disney albums) is "ビビディ・バビディ・ブー." The characters' names are written as "ビビディ," "バビディ," and "ブウ." The only one whose name differs from its source is Majin Buu ...

Re: Buu or Boo?

The character's name is written with an extra 'u' while the source is written with an extension mark, so to express this I write the character's name as 'Buu'. Oh, really?! Ever since I joined Kanzenshuu, I've been using the "Boo" spelling because I thought it was the right one! Dammit! :...

Buu or Boo?

Is Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo spelled Bibidi-Babidi-Buu in Japanese or did Toriyama purposely spell them differently like he did with Freeza instead of Freezer (Furiiza instead of Furiizā)
