Re: Are Goten & Trunks Useful Anymore?
In theory, yes. Hybrids have been noted for their enormous potential and incredibly accelerated rate of growth when they apply themselves. What if they lose power quicker too when not training? Gohan has lost power from not training twice now and it seemed to be a drastic amount, so it's not unreas...

Re: Infinite energy reactors make no sense
Power and energy have always been mixed together in DB in a way that doesn't make much sense realistically. How does that work? It's a mechanical device, how does it become more powerful just because he trained his organic body? And why not make the reactor that powerful to begin with? Why is there ...

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Okay, now THAT I didn't expect. It does make sense for Ginyu to improve, like Brikikoz said though. He was fairly unique among Freeza's troops to begin with.

Told you he should have damaged the King Cold body. Even if he hits someone good now it will only be out of good luck.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
The King Cold body doesn't seem all that damaged - they were just holding him with their Kai ability, and he never damaged himself - so now he's put North Supreme Kai in the King Cold body.

Re: Was a statement just put out that SSJ3 Goku = Boohan!?
I think interpreting it to mean that the amount of extra power he gained was on par with SS3 makes a lot more sense than saying that SS3 Goku is as strong as Buuhan, because all that means is that SS3 Goku or at least max power SS3 Goku is equal to Gohan. If the latter is true, it completely ruins t...

Re: Was Cell's core really a plothole?
Agreed. The plot hole claimers use a fallacy to claim it as such, stating that since his head was destroyed, that must mean ALL of its contents were as well, but that's nonsense . The only thing questionable is the details, because you do have to ask, if the nucleus just landed next to his body and...

Was Cell's core really a plothole?
It seems to be taken as a plothole because he gets his upper half blown up by Goku and then still regenerates even though it's supposed to be inside his head, but the thing is, when we learn about his core, it's after his entire body detonates, so how can it really be? We are clearly shown that the ...

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Yes, at least in DBM. That's not a thing in the original is it? Gohan just splattered them, so if they had regen in the original, you have to assume it was a lot weaker than what daddy had, either that or their core cell was a lot weaker and easier to destroy, which is how a Cell Jr has been killed...

Big agree - 100% on this one! Easily the best fight in the series for me in terms of how it goes down and what it sets up.Neo-Makaiōshin wrote:#1 - Goku, Krillin, Gohan & Yajirobe vs Vegeta

Re: MistareFusion's Dragon Ball Dissection! (Updated 12/18/18!)
I'm not really bothered by the "tingly back" thing in theory if we were starting from scratch, because at least it's a technique that somebody could know or not know, and that adds a small dimension of interest to things, but in reality it contradicts everything that came up before. Goku transformed...

So it's like you have a piece of software (Fusion) and then you have the brand of the people that make it (the clothes). Good thing they don't have to pay royalties!mute_proxy wrote:It's just a different kind of "magic", metamoran magic that gives the user metamoran clothes

Re: Whatever Happened To The Concept Of A SSJ Being The Strongest Fighter In The Universe?
Isn't this more out of universe than in-universe? It would have worked to keep it the strongest if there were some kind of limitations or consequences to it, but beyond it being connected to the feeling of righteous anger, there's not anything particular in the build up to Super Saiyan being achieve...

Are Raditz and Old Kai in a separate panel there, because if not I think the perspective is a bit off? Still looks great though.

Re: MistareFusion's Dragon Ball Dissection! (Updated 12/11/18!)
On to the video, Gaffer, I wish you talked a little bit about how weird Tenshinhan's Kikoho a bit more. If it could stop Cell in its tracks, which is still weaker than Super Vegeta and Super Trunks, but is quite the leap for someone who can't beat a basic Super Saiyan in a straight fight, then sure...

Re: Goku's kaioken is the worst thing ever for dragonball series
As others have said; Kaioken was clearly flawed from the start, because it hurting your body is too random to write consistently when you have a character who can always take more and more punishment. It's an essentially abitrary drawback. Goku just gets used to the damage it's supposed to cause bec...

Re: MistareFusion's Dragon Ball Dissection! (Updated 12/4/18!)
Goku can only use that thing a little so he's pushing it off as long as possible because what if he beats Gero's creations with it and then needs it for the next villain? Goku maybe doesn't usually follow that kind of mindset, but right around this time he starts thinking about the fact that villai...

Re: How Would ToP Krillin, Tenshinhan, and Roshi Have Fared In DBZ?
I think Super's focus on skill over power, combined with the many powerscaling issues it has, leads people to come up with these crazy ideas. To think that Krillin or Roshi are as strong as even SSJ1 Goku on Namek is silly IMO. But in-universe that's how powerful they are portrayed as now. Also, Su...
