Just finished watching the movie. The Halloweenish feel was great. Like others have stated, I've only heard him in this one movie, but it is always tragic to learn that another seiyu has passed on. May he rest in peace.

Also, lightening flashes around their golden aura.

I don't see it as anything out of the ordinary, Funimation appears to be sticking to their normal release patterns with the series, after September they hold off until February to release the next Dragonball set. I'm pretty sure it was the same with the season sets.
