Nice. Say, do they have mini/cute versions of other movie villains? Janemba would look fucking hilarious all superdeformed like that.Velasa wrote:Yet another little Tullece

The Daizenshuu states that Tenshinhan is a member of the Three-Eyed Race. However, remember that, in terms of canonity, the Daizenshuu is only second to the manga. It's all up to speculation whether or not Tenshinhan is an alien or not. Some believe that he is an alien because of his special attrib...

Hate to get get off-topic, but it's more (D) people not watching any of it. Nah, Naruto was their most profitable series. It was making them a TON of bank, and they sacked it. They dropped the Anime because they wanted to focus on shows that they owned outright so they'd make all the profits from D...

The manga. There's just no comparison between the two versions. The manga had a somewhat enigmatic version of the afterlife. The anime had the most lame-ass and toned down version of hell I have ever seen. The manga had excellent pacing. The anime moved slower than molasses. However, the anime had G...

I got Funi's channel only a few weeks after they took DB off. >_< It is mostly their only moderately popular and lesser known series that get shown. I think things like FMA and YYH may have their TV rights tied up with CN? That's the only thing I can think of with those as from what I hear Adult Sw...

Could it possibly be that Tenshinhan was just a human, but born with an extra eye? Like a Birth defect? I think that's what the author was trying to do. He probably was trying to portray that even people with born defects like a third eye can do extraordinary things. Thats my take on this situation...

How would an evil tyrant with mind boggling power be familiar with a pop culture trope of a planet he's never been to? The same way he knows Earth's language and what a 'minute' is. That...and sometimes we forget it's just a cartoon. :P Yes, but it's a cartoon popular with nerds like us Daizexers. ...

Re: Somethings About the FUNimation Channel and Dragon Ball
I've been a bit pissed off with this "FUNimation Channel". 1. They make it so hard to get. It's very hard to get. It's not on normal cable and is an annoyance to set up. 2. They took of Dragon Ball. June 30th. Why, would they do such a thing? Plus, this is another reason to put it on regu...

Tenshinhan's presence and character development in Movie 3 is more convincing to me then how he went from bad to good in the Manga. That was probably done better in the anime, with all the filler. If I remember right, the tournament took several days and there were lots of moments with Ten having a...

Wow, no love for the DBnotZ movies? Well, I guess I'll have to make up for that. DB movie 1 was much darker and more realistic than any other part of the series. Overall, I think Gurumes was the better villain than Pilaf, though I think that everyone's favorite blue midget is the better character. D...

I couldn't really care if they mean the exact same thing or not to be perfectly honest with you. The fact of the matter is, those translations suck ass, and are obviously made-up. Really, with a version that conveys the same meaning as the original, it all comes down to taste. If you want a complet...

Do you think he ever trained? Broli seems like a character who has tremendous power and potential as a fighter, but never bothers to develop it. Do you think he went on training expeditions like Goku and co., or went out of his way to seek strong opponents? Nobody is lying to badmouth Broli. In fac...

I really don't get it. It's clear to me that Broly uses wrestling moves all over the place, now apparently he doesn't hit hard and doesn't know how to fight. Really? It's one thing not liking Broly, but when you feel the need to blatantly lie to make the character look bad, it just becomes sad. Do ...
