There's nothing really to suggest that Buu was targeted. Everything about his deep sleep made sense to Mr Satan, who seemed to suggest it wasn't an uncommon thing, so anything beyond that seems far-fetched.

I doubt we'll see a 100% Freeza form. That form has been largely ignored since his original defeat on Namek, with his sleek form clearly being their preference. Though with how many unexpected throwbacks we've been getting, I could well be wrong.

The way I see it, Super Saiyan is something that's extremely difficult to achieve on your own, but becomes far more simple after witnessing it. We may get some answer as to whether the afterlife is something that gets erased in the next episode, as it may be a part of Goku trying to get Freeza on board.
