Re: Is Dragon Ball becoming too soft?
uh, guys? If you want to show buffness shouldn't you use Manga panels to do so? Since the author actually drew those Oda has stated that he thinks of Dragonball as the embodyment of childhood dreams, and is striving to make his series MANLY So he's completely delusional. Nope. I already has shown p...

Re: Is Dragon Ball becoming too soft?
If what you are trying to tell me is that they don't always usually look like that, then I agree. But they don't always look like your examples either, because these are not character designs, but screenshots from anime, and one is painted picture from manga. Unlike you, I used images that correctl...

Re: Is Dragon Ball becoming too soft?
The problem is, obviously, that you were intentionally misrepresenting them to benefit your argument. If you don't see the wrong in that, there is no point in continuing the discussion with you. If what you are trying to tell me is that they don't always usually look like that, then I agree. But th...

Re: Is Dragon Ball becoming too soft?
Well, I posted the actual screenshots from anime, so I won't call it as being misrepresented. This was how Zoro was actually portrayed in Fishman Island. Usopp was shown buffed for a comedy indeed, yet it still happened otherwise. And finally it doesn't matter if it is his original form or not, bec...

Re: Is Dragon Ball becoming too soft?
You purposely misrepresented their look to make them appear bigger and with more muscle than they normally appear. I corrected you. That's all. And I specified that it was showing their normal and most common look, and that's what I used for Chooper. Well, I posted the actual screenshots from anime...

Re: Is Dragon Ball becoming too soft?
Ussop is in basically a gag scene, Zoro has always been ripped but not large, and Chopper is in his special muscle form. These show their normal/most common appearances: http://www.ilbe.com/files/attach/new/20140828/14357299/4125780109/4186939543/22c11706abf555e20cdc4471e3486fe7.jpg http://i47.tiny...

Re: Is Dragon Ball becoming too soft?

Re: Saiyans or?
I'm pretty sure these are two different groups of people complaining (Saiyan fanboys vs. those who want more of the full cast to play a part), and those groups probably don't have much (or any) overlap between them. Well, I dunno. I am a fan of both saiyans and humans. I would actually like to see ...
