I mean I don't care personally for a "set definition", such as they have to have physically harmed/ been harmed by the main villain whilst assisting Goku. We all know who Goku's friends/ allies are.

Of course he should. He absolutely should be considered among the main villains.

His story was/ still is one of my favourites, and he still lives on through Piccolo.

It was a great end to the original series and set us up perfectly for Z.

Definitely worth revisiting Cooler and/ or his race in general given recent events.

At no point have I ever thought Grandpa Gohan was, or was meant to appear to be, a paedophile. There's literally nothing sexual about sleeping with your head in someone's lap, unless you make it so yourself.

The Turles movie was my favourite of the DBZ movies, and the one that I watched the most, so I'll go with Turles, if only because I'd like to see all of his old gang return as well so we could see non-Goku/ Vegeta characters having a piece of the action as well, One Piece style.

"Goku alliance" in DB consisted of Goku, Kinto'un, Bluma, Kurilin, Yamucha, Pu'erh, and Oolong. Affiliate/associate members included Muten Roshi, Umigame, Tenshinhan, Chaozu, Yajirobee, Karin, Upa, and Grandpa Gohan. Other allies include Uranai Baba, Gyuu-mao, Chi Chi, Kami, Popo, Bora, 8...

I certainly felt there was a lot more "meat" to the story earlier on in the series, but perhaps that was because I was more emotionally invested in it then.

I doubt it is showing in UK cinemas, but even if it is I won't see it as I very rarely go to the cinema anymore anyway. I don't think it represents good value for money these days.

I'd guess similarly to why most Earthlings in our world don't know how to use ki.

Goku, particularly in DB and early Z, but as I've grown older I really appreciate Vegeta's character a lot more.

I'd include Dr. Gero in the Red Ribbon Army arc. I think that's the only thing in the original series that comes out of left field. This x100. Definitely need more Dr. Gero earlier on. Maybe also a scene where Goku kills a soldier that looks just like Android 16 (i.e. Dr. Gero's son). Great point I...

He'd been "retired" a number of years by this point.

This thread makes me think of the second DBZ movie where Roshi sees some action. That was good.
