Re: How strong would Gohan be if he trained his whole life without breaks?
I personally don't think he'd be much stronger than what he ended up being as soon as the Elder Kai unleashed his potential. He might be stronger than Goku and Vegeta in the Buu arc, but I don't think he would've gotten much stronger with normal training, we have Future Gohan as a reference after al...

Re: The All-Purpose "Versus" Thread
No they don't. Goku always measures a new foe to a previous foe that was his strongest previously or a overall statement about how strong the person is, which was Beerus, not Jiren. And Jiren did appear in the movie as well. If Beerus was the measuring stick, that means Beerus was the strongest bef...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
So what's up with Fused Zamasu threatening to destroy the entire galaxy? Is he only galaxy level in the manga :?: It's just like how Buuhan in the Anime threatens Vegetto with a blast capable of destroying the planet when logically they should be able to destroy the Solar System like Cell. https://...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
I know it's all powerup and whatnot, but isn't this version of Zamasu something more than just a powered up state? Doesn't he get more buff? The wiki treats this as a power stressed state. So it'd make sense for him to surpass Perfected Blue if he power stressed. Kinda similarly to turning Giant in...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
:eh: So you are agreeing with me but then you aren't? The chain I posted is if CSSB doesn't offer a boost over SSB and that wasn't the case since Goku stalemated Merged Zamasu. We might be misunderstanding each other, CSSB is definitely stronger than the "SSB" with its energy leaking all ...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
Merged Zamasu > Goku Black full Rose output > Goku/Vegeta full Blue output. Other than Black never being able to use their full Blue output in the Manga at that point, I see nothing wrong with this chain. The idea was initially for Merged Zamasu to be stronger than a single SSB, but weaker than two...

Re: Official Unofficial Power Level Discussion Thread
I think Gohan was probably suppressing his power during their sparring session, only to then be surprised at how strong Goten's already gotten, at least that's how I always interpreted it, also, Goten's 7 years old at this point, and Gohan likely wouldn't go all out against his 7 year old brother. ...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
Something else too. The 'Kefla can kill Goku' anime statement needs to be debunked, since it's being used so people can wank Kefla. Why would Kefla, Caulifla and Kale being pushed back choosing to fuse into her, possibly want to kill Goku? When in the tournament it's not allowed... She was never st...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Beerus himself has admitted in this arc that others like Moro really do his job for him This makes me think - why is Beerus even a GoD? He doesn't like the job, and it's not like he's getting something out of it anyways from what we've seen. If anything, he's actually getting restricted by sharing ...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
I'm guessing Moro grabs someone and puts that power on top of his. That's what I think too, but if Moro really did add another UI tier character's power to his own strength, then there's no way even Beerus can help them at this point. Either that, or there's a huge gap between Omen and the silver h...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
I think anymore of this Vegeta vs Goku discussion would just be going in circles repeating the same points. Everyone's already made their stance clear and doesn't seem like anyone's willing to budge. According to the new chapter, Vegeta must inflict damage on the enemy for the technique to work Spea...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
That would be ignoring the part where Moro straight-up says he was wrong for approaching him cautiously and then mocks Goku's power, though. The exact quotes being "perhaps I was too cautious" and "If this is truly the extent of your power... then I will not fall to you" accordi...

<Goku eating lots of hamorger> <Anorexic Goku> Ah, the duality of man. https://static.myfigurecollection.net/upload/pictures/2019/05/12/2212726.jpeg I love this. Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
He actually was taking his energy After he was already completely spent and reverted to his base? Yeah, he was. Which (Goku overpowering Moro in their energy clash) doesn't mean anything since Moro was playing it safe with Goku and was cautious with him The fact that he even tried to play it safe a...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
Not entirely true. In Volume 8's bonus chapter, Kuririn overtly suggests that 17's monster taming (including training with the surviving Cell Juniors) is what made him so strong. That might not be everyone's favorite explanation, but it's something. The manga tends to elaborate on these things more...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
When did we get explanations for 17? I don't think that's true. With Frieza, yes (because of him being a prodigy alien that doesn't train). But 17 never got any explanation whatsoever in both manga and anime about his insane gains. All he has is pure speculation from people who just give claims so ...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
Piccolo is known for his big gains. Remember the Android Saga? He went from being far weaker than Base Goku, to being close to SSJ level. Even though that was a jarring jump, it still made logical sense. Piccolo spent a lot of time training Gohan in the Saiyan arc, and after training on Kaio's plan...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
How does it make any logical sense for Piccolo to be stronger than SS3 Goku? Sure, Piccolo's been training, but that's true for Goku as well. If Piccolo is capable of getting stronger than ToP-era Super Saiyan 3 Goku just from training for a few years, he should've used the RoSaT a second time durin...

Re: Is it logical to think that SSJ3 Gogeta would be around Buutenks' level?
Buu's calculations would thus be wrong Yep definitely. We get to know this later on when the Elder Kai says that Goku and Vegeta's fusion is unnaturally strong for some reason, citing it as a consequence of them being rivals. It seems that ever since DBS: Broly, a lot of people jumped onboard the i...

Re: Is it logical to think that SSJ3 Gogeta would be around Buutenks' level?
Let's not forget about this By virtue of being Goku's son, Goten posses battle power not the least bit inferior to even Gohan. On top of being able to unleash a startling amount of power in even his normal state, he can easily transform into a Super Saiyan. Furthermore, he merges with Trunks through...
