Re: DragonBall Super: Broly - List of countries & other related info
No, you aren't wrong. Even countries that have a dub for DB Super (Germany, Taiwan, South Korea) don't dub the movie for some reason. I think they should dub the movies if they want to attract more kids. OK, I thought so, but I just wanted to make sure. I think Germany will eventually release a dub...

Re: DragonBall Super: Broly - List of countries & other related info
Of all these countries and territories listed, is anyone keeping track of how many of them are showing dubbed versions of the movie? From my understanding there's English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Castilian Spanish, Catalonia, Basque, Portugal Portuguese (unofficially announced)...

Which Dragon Ball (Z, GT) Movies and Specials were released in Greek?
Hey guys, I wondering if anybody here knows which movies and tv specials were released in Greek and when they were released. I'm trying to update my International Dubs spreadsheet, but was hitting some roadblocks with this due to google poorly translating Greek Wikipedia pages into English.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Announcement on the 10th or not, many people with insider sources have said a TV show is coming and Vegeta’s Italian VA even slipped its existence (he went back on his words of course). The Fuji TV schedule shuffling happening in April alone is, in my opinion, proof that the new show will begin the...

Re: After more than 20 years, the original DragonBall anime returns in Cyprus! (soon in Greece?)
BTW, the original DragonBall anime (Greek dub) had come out on DVD in 2011 by DeAgostini Hellas and the audio was fine. But for some reason, they redubbed a scene from episode 33 and the whole episode 77 (with different voice actors). A similar thing happened with the Greek DVD release of DragonBal...

Re: DragonBall Super in Greece
Thanks, I agree with you that the VA's need some more time to settle into their roles, but overall they did a pretty good job. Hope to hear more in the near future.

Re: DragonBall Super in Greece
Just watched the first 2 episodes. Most voices need more emotion in their performance. Some of them sounded kinda weird on the characters. Also, the VAs talk slowly for some reason. That's my first impression. Opening and Ending were left in Japanese. Mister Satan is called Mister Hercule. Next epi...

Re: Dragon Ball Super International News & Speculation (Read First Post)
Maybe that guy that said Toei goes all maternal and says "No Super until you finish Kai!" to countries that didnt do just that. While I think that stipulation may be in place for many regions, I don't think it applies for Spain. For one, Catalonia and Galicia DID dub the entirety of Kai, ...

That's what people over there are thinking.DB_Fan1991 wrote:So maybe once the Spanish dub is complete we’ll see the other 3.
It'll probably happen eventually, considering the Catalaonias and Galacians even recently dubbed the Final Chapters of Kai, so there's definitely still a demand to run Super.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Brazilian Portuguese Dub
Damn, didn't really liked the idea of dubbing "Ultimate Battle", insert songs should be left untouched. But, anyway Bezerra confirmed on Instagram that the Broly movie will be released there on January 3, which is awesome, probably the fastest debut compared to the japanese release (Decem...

Re: Dragon Ball Super International News & Speculation (Read First Post)
I’m surprised that there is nothing about a Catalan, Basque & Galician dub. Apparently, Turner Europe has a stranglehold on the TV rights for all of Spain since the show is being aired on a nationally-broadcast network (Boing Spain). Since nationally-broadcast networks take precedence over regi...

Also, what's up with all of these errors going on at Cartoon Network? Don't they have any sort of quality control?

Huh, wasn't aware that the Castilian dub called him "Bills" in the first episodes, so I guess it's not being based off the French dub this time.

Have they done anything like before? Did the French dub (that this dub is based off of) have French text in this scene?TheRed259 wrote:One interesting detail: in episode 83, they replaced the original Japanese text with a Spanish one: https://youtu.be/Q3Igb9k-lhE?t=112

So apparently this this the exact same version that aired in Africa earlier this year, the only exception being the credits are airing in Japanese as opposed to being in English. Also strange that he is still referred to as "Mr. Satan" in the credits as well. Hopefully ABC ME keeps uploadi...
