I have the original Dragon Ball sets on their way. I've never seen the whole series through. Just small tidbits of very early episodes (Pilaf saga).

It feels like getting a brand new Dragon Ball series. So excited.

Same as Kaboom, it's just easier to remember it by the main villain/event.

He's the Dragon Ball version of Chuck Norris, very good martial artist but overrated by the mass populace.

Maybe because they don't like the idea of them suffering, sure they can be brought back but they still experienced the act of dieing.

Includes any the Saiyan's wear or Freeza/his henchman etc.

After serious thought, my previous statement of Bardock being my fav is now my 2nd fav. My favourite is definately Vegeta's first appearance (not green coloured).

The Medicom Goku/Piccolo/Gohan figures were really good, very pricey but the materials were amazing.

As awesome as that figure is, it's definately not worth £30-40 extra.

The Elite Saiyan/17 lookalike's costume is a blue version of Tenshinhan's robed outfit in Dragon Ball minus the hat.

I would say most definately yes, not sure about Japan (with the amount of anime out now) but absolutely in the West. Dragon Ball is 'mainstream' anime; Grannies know about it, it's overwhelmingly popular and has been around a long time.

Don't forget that half the cast are reformed villains anyway.
