Re: Why didn't the Kaioshin use Time Rings to escape from Majin Buu?
To prevent any divergence in the time stream (and we know gods are big on that), the rings probably return the user to the exact time of their departure, meaning Buu would still be there. So at most, they could use their time in the future to plan, but they wouldn't be able to escape an attack. Also...

Re: Something About Goku Black *Huge Spoiler*
I don't think Black should have transformations. I liked how he was strong enough to battle on par with SS Goku, and I think that should continue. It just makes a better visual, standard black-haired Goku, powering up with his dark aura, against the real Goku with his more colorful clothes and vario...

He's busy flying around the dark outer reaches of the universe, looking for a safe place to stash Buu's egg.

Re: Super/GT possible explanation
Super was never intended to fit with GT. The makers of Super have made no allowances for GT, and will continue to ignore it. The arrival of Future Trunks does give them a good "out" for retconning EoZ, though.

Re: What If Kid Goku had the power of a Super Saiyan God?
This Goku is a ticking time bomb. One look at the moon (and it would happen eventually), and he transforms. Lashing out in a mindless rage with that power, he blows the planet apart and dies in the vacuum of space. The end (to a very short and stupid story.)

Ya bunch of filthy perverts , he probably has internal genitalia, like a reptile. Even on a male, all you see on the outside is a little slit, and thankfully the art isn't detailed enough to show it.
Though it would explain some things about Cell's tail....

Re: Why does SSJ4 go shirtless?
The first time Goku transformed SS4, he should have been naked. We know he has no inhibitions against it. He would stand tall and proud before Baby, his manhood strategically hidden by some Austin Powers-like camera angles. Everyone else would be terribly awkward / embarrassed. Then Supreme Kai pops...

Re: 4:3 vs 16:9 poll
DB/Z/GT shows: 4:3 OAR, so no picture is cropped. Movies: 16:9 OAR, as they were intended to be seen in theaters. DBZ Kai: 16:9. Since the whole point of the show is to refresh it for modern sensibilities, I actually wish Funi released the widescreen version. DB Super: 16:9. As a new production, I ...

Re: Could Majin Boo's Origins come from Universe 6?
Buu got jobbed to Beerus in BoG, and was completely absent in RF. He's a secondary character now, and we know what happens to them in DB. I wouldn't expect any further exploration of Buu going forward. He's just a speed bump now for super-strong villains, same as Krillin, Piccollo, Gohan, etc.

He doesn't have to originate from Other World. King Kai could have acquired him from Earth or some other planet in the mortal realm that has monkeys.

Re: The popularity of Freeza and catalyst for future villain
I don't get why people bitch about Freeza. Everyone's always clamoring for the Joker to come back, people are going to lose their shit when Darth Vader comes back, but Freeza reappearing every so often? "HE'S OLD, HE'S OVERUSED, WA HA HAAAAH!" You'd think he never left, and that there were...

Re: Lets end this once and for all! Question to the BoG/FnF
Yes. I don't care how or whether things fit in continuity, whether something originates with Toriyama or Toei, or endless canon debates. It's just a show, so I sit back and relax.

Re: Anyone else not give a shit about the canon?
DB is a franchise originally made for children, years ago, half a world away. I enjoy it for the action, fantasy, and quirky characters. But it was very obviously made up on the fly. Therefore, over-analyzing canon / continuity, power levels, inconsistencies in the fictional world, out whatever is a...

Re: Do you feel cheated?
I felt cheated when I found out DBZ Kai would end with the Cell Saga, well after I had already begun buying the Volumes on Blu-ray. And I'm very disappointed it's taking so long to get the Buu Saga released Stateside. Funi really should have fast-tracked this. At this point, I may just say "Fuc...

Re: Shouldn't Saiyans be Breatherians?
Ki is not an external power source to draw upon, like the sun is to Superman. It comes from within one's own body. If anything, people who generate that much power should have to eat a lot more. ALL the Z-warriors should scarf like Goku. Ki comes from the spirit as much as from the body. It's erron...

Re: Why didn't Gohan beat the crap out of Vegeta
Death in DBZ isn't ceasing to exist like in the real world, it's more like just moving really far away. Gohan knows Goku is off training with King Kai, having the time of his (after)life, and that if he remains good and strong they'll see each other again some day. Of course he'll miss his father, b...

Re: Villain Fodder
While I understand the story purpose of a former threatening figure "doing the job" to build up other characters that are beyond them, I don't care for how it's been used in DB. One of the reasons I'm excited for Resurrection F is the return of Freeza as the main antagonist. Hopefully it w...
