Personally, the only audio tracks I want are the revised English dub with Japanese music in stereo, and the original Japanese mono. 5.1 English would be awesome, but I think that's demanding a little too much from the original mono music, so I'd be fine with stereo, like the Dragon Ball dub had. The...

Most of my favorites have already been mentioned, but there was one dub line from movie 6 that I really liked. Coola (upon seeing Vegeta) : "A second Super Saiyan?" Vegeta: "Second in order , perhaps, but by no means in stature ; your fight is with me now." I also really liked du...

I just checked over at the Funimation forums and unfortunatly we seem to be a minority. Most responses seem to be: Oh well, I don't mind the widescreen so much. Look at all this cool footage we get on the sides! I love you Funimation. I don't think we're looking at the same forum. FUNimation's foru...

Eclipse wrote:But wait...is this 5 discs thing stated FROM that press statement or something?
Straight from the press release on page 2 of this thread:

"The first Dragon Ball Z Season Set includes 39 episodes on five DVDs with over 900 minutes of action."

Safe to say that's what we're getting.

If they're releasing it with the usual 3 episodes per disc, then the dub audio can definitely be there. Considering the UUE's had a Spanish track (AS well as the 2 English audios, and the Japanese mono), I'm sure the new ones can handle it. It's going to be about 8 episodes per disc, though, which ...

The dragonballs can probably be destroyed. Didn't Kuririn or someone threaten to destroy them once (I can't remember why)? It's when the Ginyu Force cornered Kuririn, Vegeta, and Gohan on Namek and were about to steal their Dragon Ball; Vegeta told Kuririn to destroy it, but before he could, it was...

I agree with Hero 004 , I'll buy the set, enjoy the good, and deal with the bad when I come to it. It's not like these episodes are going to be released on DVD again after this, at least not in the near future. Yes, I'm impatient. (now if only we could do something about that horrible acting...). Eh...

Tenshinhan said they'd probably never see him again. Probably. Didn't Chi-Chi let him fight because they needed the money? Chi-Chi let Gohan fight because she wanted him to be able to take a break from his studies, as well as keep his strength up. As for Tenshinhan showing up and competing, I just ...

Hence, FUNi's English voice/Japanese BGM track will either be a mono presentation with newer sounding voices and an aged soundtrack that is similar to our current Japanese version, or FUNi will attempt to remix the BGM track which could be a disaster (and typically is when people try to remix somet...
