...what the HELL Cartoon Network!?

Here's something interestingly weird...Toonami is showing a REALLY old episode of Dragonball Z...and no, it's not one of the Ultimate Uncut episodes, it's one of the old Ocean Group cast episodes from the 90's. WTF CARTOON NETWORK!? They weren't doing this last weekend were they?! o_O

:o The jumping fish line really made the movie for me. I love it when characters break the fourth wall, for some odd reason I find it funny... :P Vol. 2 of the manga has some of those moments I've mentioned. For example after Bulma informs them of the Dragon Balls being stone for a year: Yamcha: A ...

Not to mention, it's expected in Looney Tunes, where as it breaks the fourth wall in Dragon Ball and is VERY out of character for Vegeta and Piccolo. But to be fair, the whole talking thing isn't something that just FUNi did. 4Kids is notorious for doing this. And in some cases even moreso in Megam...

That's wonderful. You pointing out things about other DVDs that are WRONG doesn't matter to me, and quite frankly, they wouldn't even if they were CORRECT. Yes, FUNimation could've done better with the Ultimate Uncut DVDs. The fact that you seem to have the illusion that "all they care about is...

How 'bout, let's not? Since as tarsonis has already blatantly pointed out to you, this isn't the "OMG I HATE THE DUB" forum.

Anyone who calls funimation or has ANY and I MEAN ANY RESPECT for funimation, and is CLREARLY a HUGE NOOOOOOOOB to the whole ANIME scene, there are many other companies that do dragonball and other animes, and you should see what their final product is... funimations is all about money and re-relea...

And I really have to say how shocked I am at the amount of responses of "I don't want to read my anime" that I see on this board. We're definitely not a website that's dedicated to or shows a grand amount of love to the English dub in any way what-so-ever, so I'm kinda astounded that so m...

Happy 8th Birthday Daizex :o Thanks for remembering to do the rest of my question. Dameon Clarke and Kyle Hebert both DID move to LA, but they didn't leave FUNimation, so they can still do voices for any of their current animes if they happen to be in (or are called down to) the Dallas area. Kyle's ...

I prefer dubs in general for a simple reason, I like to WATCH anime, not read subtitles. I like to WATCH the awesome animation that these various studios work their ass off to do. If I wanted to read it, then I get the manga, simple as that. HOWEVER, that does NOT mean that I hate Japanese versions ...

Damn, thanks a lot for going so in depth with my question! I had no problem with listing your favorite Japanese VAs as well, since I figured you would do that anyway...in fact I should've put that in the question to begin with. My bad XD I can understand being more into the Ocean Group cast though. ...

Doragonbôru Densetsu

I've been having NO luck finding this song on Limewire. It's the ending theme to DB Movie #3 "Mystical Adventure". If you know where to find it, or have the MP3, I would really appreciate putting it on YouSendIt. Thank you!

Actually I think I know of the logic behind "Turles". Sharkman, from the Megaman series, has his name pronounced "Shiakkuman" I believe, but his name is written on the official art and in the video games obviously as "Sharkman". Obviously something like "Shiarukuma...

Even more ironic that Roshi's VA is named MIKE McFarland XP

Thanks a lot for doing an episode for Christmas, I gotta few kicks out of that, and it actually reminded me a lot of my own embarassing Dragonball stories. Hope you guys have a Merry Christmas!
