Re: List of all foreign language dubs
The Albanian dub intrigues me. The whole dubbing scene is really fascinating over there. Apparently, there isn't much legal oversight and an abundance of piracy in the region, to the point that companies like Toei don't have the time and resources to do anything about it. They have dozens of titles...

Re: List of all foreign language dubs
@Tian Ok, I'll be sure to dd that.
Also, anyone here know anything more about the Chinese dubs (Mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong, etc)? I'm having a little trouble finding out about them due to the language barrier.

I'm not sure about that, but if it's uncut, I'd wager they wouldn't change the names.

Re: Turner expands Toonami to Africa!
As it turns out, they may actually be airing the uncut dub, going off of this promo: (I'm pretty sure Beerus says "damn" about a minute in) https://www.facebook.com/ToonamiAfrica/ ... =2&theater

Hey guys, just wanted to thank you all for your help, there's been tons more updated to the spreadsheet, be sure to check it out here! https://goo.gl/Zay3za Also, I'm not too well-versed when it comes to video games. I know that Funimation has dubbed several games over the years, but could anyone te...

Yep, there's a Cowboy Bebop marathon on 12/23, and a Super marathon on 12/30. No new episodes on either of those weeks.Hellspawn28 wrote:Looks like I was right about no episode going to be out on the 23rd. Episode 45 will be out on January 6th.

Re: Turner expands Toonami to Africa!
If Toonami Africa's airing of the Funi dub is edited, it should be capped. I second this. I sincerely doubt that they are airing the show uncut like on Adult Swim, since it seems that this version of the channel is skewing towards younger demographics. I'm curious to see if Funimation has been doin...

I think it should also be noted that it wouldn't likely be a logistical nightmare trying to get Sean's lines recorded and mixed on a weekly basis, considering he doesn't live in Texas anymore, unlike the most of the supporting cast. Just about all of the Simuldubs Funimation puts out uses the local ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" FUNimation Dub Official Discussion Thread
Toonami picked up an additional slot at 22:30 - Black Clover airs at 23:30, while Super and Kai move up 30 minutes. Unfortunately, it will result in Super being removed from 8:00 and 8:30. Here's the schedule for the next couple of weeks: 11/18: 8:00 Dragon Ball Super #40 8:30 Dragon Ball Super #41...

Also, I just wanted to point out that I'm keeping a list of all the international DB dubs in a spreadsheet that's open and editable for anyone, as long as they have this link: https://goo.gl/Zay3za . Feel free to check it out or fix anything that doesn't seem right! Just sent you a request because ...

That list is cool. Do you happen to collect dubs yourself ? Yep, sure do. Not just for dragon ball either. I've got a ton of clips, dubbed openings and endings and other rare media on my hard drive that I've been collecting for the past decade or so. wow time sure does fly! I guess you can thank Ke...

-France on unknown channel. It's certainly not unknown. It's airing both on Toonami: censored and uncut versions, with pal speed up. And on nt1, uncut only, without pal speed up: https://www.db-z.com/dragon-ball-super-vf-nt1/ Sorry about that, I haven't updated the list for a long, long time. All i...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Bang Zoom Dub Official Discussion Thread
I find it interesting how the episode title for episode 15 is "Satan, our Hero!...", while the Mr. Satan is consistently referred to as "Hercule" in the episode itself. Maybe an oversight when they were translating the episode titles? Maybe it's me, but I'm hearing some improveme...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" FUNimation Dub Official Discussion Thread
I am a little behind on the Toonami airings and just wanted to get a little clarification. Did the dubbed version of Ending 3 air on Toonami for any of the episodes, or did they all air in Japanese? Apparently it was dubbed for the Blu-ray release that just came out last week, according to this YouT...

Re: Dragonball Super starts in Germany
If it was Toei Europe's decision then why did they let Portugal have a dubbed opening? The burocracy around these kind of stuff is really confusing. Indeed it is, maybe it's because Portugal received it before the others did? I really can't explain any of if. Toei has been really wired regarding wh...

Re: Dragonball Super starts in Germany
I will be very surprised if they did. As far as I know no dub has gotten a dubbed opening, so I think that was Toei's decision to have Chozetsu Dynamic (and later it will be Limit x Break) as the only opening everywhere in the world. There have been at least 4 countries with dubbed openings, Latin ...

Kai is being marathoned in a few weeks. Labour day weekend or something. F**cking a. Does anyone have list of remaining holidays for the year so we can prepare for disappointment ahead of time? There will likely be marathons on the weekends before Halloween, possibly Thanksgiving (there wasn't a ma...
