DB is totally done on TV in the US, yes (as of about a month ago). They mostly referred to him as "Tien", but "Tien Shinhan" was thrown in every now and then. They spell it as two words in the episode titles and stuff, and it's pronounced like separate words. I guess it's suppose...

This makes me wonder: How exactly did Buu lose South Kaioushin's power and regress all the way back into his original form, anyway? (Ignoring the whole "why didn't he turn back into evil/thin Buu" thing...)

Well, in the anime, they actually show him after having absorbed South Kaioushin, but they don't in the manga. When he's regressing into Kid Buu, he may look just like the Buu+South Kaioushin form for a bit, but they're not the same, technically. This is just my perception, anyway. But, of course, i...

It seems you're referring to the first panel of Chapter 508. To me, I'm only seeing this as just part of the transformation into Kid Buu. But it's up to VegettoEX, really.

Hmm, I was looking for a chapter number, if "Buff Buu" really is supposed to be in the manga. But he's not. There's Kaioushin's narration about it, with South Kaioushin and Daikaioushin pictured, but no picture of Buu after having absorbed South Kaioushin. So, technically, that Buu does't ...

Another one of these... ;_; I say Tenshinhan, for pretty much all the reasons Dayspring said. As far as what Yamucha says to Marron (which is most people's argument for Kuririn), you have to look at the context of that. He was reassuring Kuririn's daughter, and probably didn't have Tenshinhan in min...

" Trunks' " Yeah, that's exactly what I was taught, growing up in school. Julian just recently looked it up in a modern English grammar book, and to both of our surprise, it told us that the rule is now the full word, apostrophe, and another "s" !! I'm fully against it, but hey....

Picture...so awesome... Makes me want to watch the Cell saga completely through again, but I don't have access to every episode yet. ;_;

Third-Form Cell reminds me of Captain Planet, for some reason.

Seems like 165 is actually on the fourth "Perfect Cell" disc, which means I have every episode you need. I don't have my own DVD drive, but I could maybe use a friend's computer in a few days, if someone else can't help out sooner.

I thought that one was great! :) I think the episode with the blind kid was just a filler, because we never see him again. I would like to know what happened to that little guy...... Actually, that scene was in the manga, too. Seems very much like filler, though. I wouldn't be surprised if that kid...

Piccolo is definitely a very cool character. He's tied with Tenshinhan as my #2 favorite (I can't choose between them). Isn't Piccolo Toriyama's favorite character?

Gokuu is my favorite! Piccolo and Tenshinhan are both very close behind him.

They do say "Mr Satan" in the original, or just "Satan" for short sometimes. The "Hercule" part is invented by the dub, and it's supposed to be his first name in that continuity. It's possible that "Mr Satan" was a stage name or something, but there's no way t...

As far as I can tell, "Bulma Briefs" was invented by the dub, just because her father is "Dr. Briefs". But that doesn't necessarily have to be their family name. He could just be a guy named Brief, with no other name like Yamucha and Kuririn and the others, who happens to be a do...

Looks great so far. Much better than the generic lists on "newb" sites.
