空 is actually written as kū , kû , kuh , or kuu (depending on the type of romanization), not ku . Also, because of the different types of romanization, you sometimes see Gokuh , Gokū , etcetera. Go kou is used a lot too, but that's not really romanization; it's just an alternate spelling with the sa...

Do you guys think Toei might decide to translate and subtitle Kai themselves to release on Direct2Drive and Crunchyroll as a part of their OnDemand service? http://www.toei-anim.com/ondemand/ I would certainly love Toei if they did that. You'd probably be able to watch each new episode an hour after...

The difference between people saying "Shut up about TOEI cropping the series! Just buy the Dragon Boxes!" and "Shut up about the dub! Just buy the Dragon Boxes!" is that TOEI isn't just cropping the series, they're making a new one. Yes, they're using footage from DBZ to make it,...

I'm really looking forwards to Kai. The cropping actually looks good and so do the colors. In FUNimation's release of DBZ, it looks old and decrepit, while Kai looks new and amazing. Plus, the music sounds like it might be good; It reminds me of One Piece.

How I always heard it.
You heard it as NEH-mek? Does anyone have a clip of Namek being pronounced that way in the show?

The B has "battle" written on it in katakana. Next to the B is the kanji for "awakening" (kakusei).

Wow! Don't You See sounds amazing. I didn't like the English version before, but you fixed it. Thank you! Too bad FUNi didn't put the main vocals in a separate channel for the other two songs.

I don't know if it's been mentioned before, but while I was watching TV Tokyo, I saw a commercial for Dragon Ball toys at McDonald's. I missed the beginning of the CM, but one of the toys looked like some kind Kamehame-Ha ball you hold in your hand that lights up and makes noise. I found something s...

Gokou is pronounced the same as Gokuh. It's like with the English word "caribou". My mom even spelt it that way because that's how she though it would be spelt since it's pronounced "goh-koo".

Is it really worse than Kulilien though? What's that? Sounds like a fusion of Kuririn/Krillin (which somehow got romanized to "Kulilin", though that isn't a very used romanization) with Tenshinhan (under his american name of "Tien"; though I find it weird that an american name i...

Dragon Ball Orchestra

I found some orchestrated Dragon Ball songs. The site has Battle Time Theme from Super Saiya Densetsu, Versus Theme from Super Butōden 3, Yūsha no Fue ~Tapion no Theme~ from movie 13, and Boss Fight Theme from Kyōshū! Saiya-jin. I don't know if I'm allowed to link to the site. I don't want to get in...
