Re: Broly's Green Ki

The distorted atmosphere thingy is seen a few other times throughout the series... just for the Cool, I guess.

The green aura is perhaps a very concentrated SSj color..? Or a corrupted/mutated version of it?

Re: Why Buff Boo instead of Skinny?

Since Fat Buu had both good and evil in him, he went through a separation just like Kami & Piccolo. It would've been easier to visualize if both Buus remained physically identical like Kami & Piccolo - you'd have a good Fat Buu and an evil Fat Buu - but apparently Buu adopted a physical form...

That sounds very good. It'd mean there's actually a physical difference in the DNA of both types. I like this idea :)

Re: Odd question about Majin Buu saga

It's episode 256 (funi numbers) at around two-thirds. I guess the animators forgot the scene where Mr. Satan and Dende died the most gruesome of deaths, only to be mysteriously brought back to life seconds later.

Re: Kami's Temple - Access Denied?!

It think it just refers to Kami's (then) great power. If an unwanted guest appeared, Kami would just use his power to repel him. Needless to say, this safeguard seems to be rather obsolete after the Piccolo Jr. saga ;P

Re: Cyborgs arc questions

Support for the Androids being the same power between timelines : 1 - Trunks, being unconscious during Gohan's last stand, never learns like Gohan did that the Androids were holding back so much power. 2 - The Androids label Trunks as a "toy" for them, strongly implying they've holding ba...

Re: Cyborgs arc questions

4- In Trunks' future, Cell says that Trunks couldn't beat #17 and #18, much less him. This implies that Cell is stronger than #17 and #18. Yet in the main timeline, he is defeated easily by Piccolo, whose power rivals #17 and #18's. And Cell himself says that he's weaker than the Artificial Humans....

Re: Cell Time Travel Question

I ignore the manga on this point and assume Cell set that time himself, since he needed the time to re-grow. It makes sense that Cell would take this into account and hence set the time to 4 years before the time that the cyborgs were released.

Re: Is the SSJ powerup always the same?

So SSj is x50 and SSj 2 is that x2 (x100 base). Does anyone know what's the multiplier for SSj grade 2, grade 3 and full power?

Re: Fat Buu-The Two Kais

Yeah, he'd still be no model citizen, but Kid Buu was a being that actively and constantly pursued total destruction. In the rare occasion that a strong opponent could distract him enough, he'd show his playful, fight-loving nature, but also a very sadistic streak that also shone through with Fat Bu...

Re: Fat Buu-The Two Kais

Well, that's the interesting thing about this alternate Kid Buu. It's a fact that he has neither good nor evil in him, so that makes him quite an enigmatic being. In trying to figure out what he'd be like, I divided Buu's personality traits in good, neutral and bad qualities: Infantile Fighting pass...

Re: The Timelines Of Dragon Ball

It does get confusing... but imagine for a while the Trunks that got hijacked by Cell. He didn't have either the power to stop him, or the faintest idea who Cell was. He did travel to the past before. But he couldn't have gone to the same past as "our" Trunks, or he would've been able to k...

Re: Fat Buu-The Two Kais

I started a thread about this very topic not too long ago: http://daizex.fanboyreview.net/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=14455 My idea is that this would result in a very empty version of Buu. He'd have the form of Kid Buu, but since he was originally pure evil, there's neither good nor evil left. He'd bec...

Re: The Timelines Of Dragon Ball

There's (at least) four of them: the main one, Trunks' future and the future from which Cell came. Additionally, there's this one: Cell hijacked Trunks' time-machine because the cyborgs had been defeated by Trunks somehow. But our Trunks returns to the future and not only kills the cyborgs, but Cell...

Re: Buff Buu= Kid Buu+South Kaioshin??

Though I'm a member of the Super Buu fanclub, so to speak, I do like your idea that the buff Buu was simply a transitory form that wasn't equal to Kid Buu+South Kaioshin. They briefly say (in the dub) that Buff Buu gets stronger than Super Buu, but I've always interpreted that as a momentary surge o...

Re: Immortality?

The "can't-ever-die" immortality is probably an incoherent concept when you really think about it. Garlic Jr. could still be temporarily wounded, but then he regenerates. Question is: how far can this regeneration go? Can be survive being exploded? Disintegrated? Having all of his body-mas...

Re: Saiyans before Freeza

I see... however there is nothing that indicates (expect filler) the space-pods and the scouters to have been used by Saiyans before Freeza's army? It always made much more sense to me all those gadgets were made by Freeza's empire, not the Saiyans (or Tsufuru). It fits completely in their style, s...

Re: Some Boo Arc questions

3. Also, why did Dabra and Bobbodi say that the Kaiôshin and Kibito's chi couldn't be used to contribute to the awakening of Majin Boo? In my view, ki exists in different polarities: positive, negative and neutral. Positive and negative don't mix (i.e. subtract from each other), while neutral is fa...
