Ah yes the things that most of us don’t have access to in a legal way! Nor do most people have the patience or knowledge to add subs to foreign releases.

I'll take this over the blue bricks in a heartbeat. Hopefully FUNi does something similar with DB and GT. Tired of these season set DVDs.

Only if they fix the muffled sound effects in the english mix. If I recall correctly, the problem was with Funimations 5.1 mix, and the 2.0 mix that Adult Swim got actually sounded how it was supposed to be. Oof that makes me even more annoyed! I got an inferior home release product. Typical FUNi.

If Spain can put something like this out, what is stopping Funimation? Is the original DB that much more popular in Spain? Has FUNi ever put out a upscale on Blu before?

If the 30th Anniversary footage was repackaged and released or put up for streaming, wouldn't that defeat the purpose of paying the $350 for it? I’m about to pull the trigger and just snag the Dboxes. With my luck they announce a reprint right after(doubtful). Guess I’ll either sell the 30th set off or keep it as a backup release in case I ever care about faulconer again.

Yeah the DVD set had horrible ghosting in season 1 especially. Blu rays are much better. New set is the same discs just repackaged.

Meanwhile Avatar TLAB is getting a good looking 15th anniversary steelbook set.
