Well if they do retell Broly, I'm already expecting an episode where they extend the 5 minute scene of Goku and vegeta trying to fuse while Broly beats the crap out of Freeza. Actually that would be hilarious.

While I think other Shonen anime may benefit like My hero and Definetly One Piece since the pacing has been all over the place, some how Dragon Ball just works in the long formate. Sure some pacing of arcs can be off, but the long forn just seems to suit it better.

I feel that it gave more reason on why Bardock acted the way he did. I will go with the original release. They are the least censored although recent editions may be edited. Viz Bigs are fine but feel bulky. As it's been stated the three in ones are just poor quality. I was tempted to buy them but they feel kind of cheap.

When the movie was concieved back in the spring of 2017, Toriyama probably didn't think much of Ultra instinct since it was originally Toei that wanted a new form to help promote. So the transformation was probably an easter egg.

I personally enjoyed this arc and it does a good job setting up storylines for the next arc.
