Wow. So many replies just since last night! Cool. Anyhoo, some good ideas for storylines, "meanwhiles," and the like, and thanks for alerting me to the Yamcha doujinshi; it looks interesting (I'm reading it as I type this) Anyhoo, here's a pair of my ideas for filler "episodes." ...

Make Your Own Filler!

Alright, folks. Here's yet another crazy attempt of mine to get you bumpkins to be creative. So, ya hate filler, do you? ( I'm not poiting fingers, just talking generally ) Well, then... let's see you do better than Toei! If you think you're up to it, come up with a little side-story for our beloved...

Finisha Bustasssa! :P  So, it's as I'd suspected, eh? Unnamed attacks from the show, embellished upon in the games. It would see that the "Finish Buster" is the beam/blast one he used to kill Cell, so I guess I'll consider the "Buster Cannon" the projectile version, then....

Re: Buster Cannon/Finish Buster

Yeah, that's most definitely the Burning Attack. Well, my suspicion that the move originated in the games is gaining strength. But what about the name deal? I thing in the games, the "Buster Cannon" was a beam/blast attack, whereasthe "Finish Buster" was a projectile. I'm not sur...

Eventual Strength of "Minor" Fighter Characters

Hi there. I decided I'd like to start an interesting topic. How strong would you say some of the more "minor," (i.e. non-Saiyan) characters ever became? In either terms of comparison, or, God help us all, PL numbers? (Please don't) Use evidence from the manga/anime when talking, please. Fo...

Buster Cannon/Finish Buster

Howdy, there. A lil' question. I was just meandering around earlier, thinking about DbZ, when an crazy little purple, wormy alien suddenly pounced upon me and bit into my skull. It was most painful. Once I'd forcefully removed the little scamp, I killed it with the famous Trunks move, the "Fini...

Well, since I actually have now played any number of DbZ games, I can give my $.02... SuperSonic Warriors : Tie Kuririn - He's got a lot of variety across all 3 of his levels Goku - Same reason as Kuririn. I love the "L" = Instant Shunkan-Ido thing. Budokai 1 - Trunks. Big Trunks fan perio...

Gotenks?

The purebreed thing does make sense for SSj4. A good way to keep it restricted to only one or two characters, too, rather than having, as Vegeta would put it, an SSj4 Bargian Sale...

Because he knew Babidi's goons were planning to try to steal ki from Gohan. So Kaioshin parazlyzed Gohan, allowing them to steal the ki, so he could follow them to Babidi.

Well, anime-only as it was, it's still there, and can\should be considered. Also, I'd like to revive a point of mine that... do we ever really see Goku fight at full-power SSj3? I mean, every time ( not counting movies, of course ) Goku used the stage, he was either restricted with it, or was holdi...

Sorta. He did fight (and do pretty well) against Kid Buu, who's stronger than Fat Buu, later at just SSj2 for a while before having to ascend. I'm not sure if you want to use that though, considering it was anime-only. ...That was me ... :( Well, anime-only as it was, it's still there, and can\shou...

My thoughts exactly. Goku guesses that SSj Gotenks will be strong enough to defeat Fat Buu, he doesn't know , he's guessing. And while we should hold Goku's estimate with considerable weight, it's not direct evidence. Even if Goku's right it doesn't mean Gotenks is stronger than he is, do we ever s...

So, by GT, Goku's close to 60, yell still looking young and vital as ever.

I wonder at what age/point a Saiyan is considered 'past their prime'?

I'd say I prefer FUNi's voices. They're just what I came to like DbZ with, and it's hard for me to imagine them any different. That'd be my like for the dub, I guess.
