Re: Super Animation Catalogue - [Updated with #57]

Even shida didn't use loose animation to make goku spin.
Higashide, Shida and the guys who worked in trunks special, all of them reinforces the idea that loose animation doesn't fit in dragon ball, that thing tate did in frieza fight was completely out of place

Re: Super Animation Catalogue - [Updated with #56]

I really, really expected 56 to be an epic episode, considering the amount of time until tate has shown up again and the hype you guys brought here, but I still saw some unpolished frames and the animation was meh, especially in the goku vs black part. If you ask me, I think even 47 was better than ...

Loved the spinning before the landing of goku after the reverse kick to frieza, no loose animation at all

Re: Super Animation Catalogue - [Updated with #54]

I must concur that Pokémon XY has been a joy to watch. Sure, it still follows the same basic mold of previous seasons, but the polished animation and camerawork helps make the quest for gym badges and Pokédex entries feel exciting again. Plus, narrative touches like Serena's crush on Satoshi add a ...

Re: Super Animation Catalogue - [Updated with #54]

Sooooo, that Tsuji guy is the reason of why Vegeta vs Hit was incredibly inconsistent? and that's why the noses changes at every sec in tate's episodes?

Re: Super Animation Catalogue - [Updated with #52]

It's pretty obvious that his work in DBZ is better.

In DBS is inconsistent whatsoever, for instance the noses, sometimes they are pointy, sometimes rounded.

Just like yamamuro, he has changed his designs (aside from the subpar quality)

That particular cut was by Higashide.
didn't he start to work in DBS since 49?

Stop with the victim complex. Nobody's saying anything like what you're describing. Strawmans certainly don't help. Ok so Mazingerdestro said that he hates people' reaction towards the show and the endless Z VS SUPER comparisons due to Going against a new show and literally attacking every episode ...

Re: DBZ vs DBS - Animation [Comparing Objectively]

I hate people' reaction towards the show and the endless Z VS SUPER comparisons......Not because z has more good moments but because of people' negativity. Going against a new show and literally attacking every episode when most fans don't know anything about animation or how they produce it . I ha...

Re: Super Animation Catalogue - [Updated with #50]

A lot of bulma shots looked worse in the blu ray. Wonder why they focused on her when the fight was what needed it I don't think Bulma's shots look worse, just different and not in a bad way. Both versions are acceptable. I agree the fight should be their priority. It's a waste fix something that l...

Re: Super Animation Catalogue - [Updated with #49]

Definitely: Am i the only one who think that Yukihiro Kitano is really bad? I mean, OK, he did episode 1, he did episode 19, he did episode 39. Yeah, why not. Obviously, episode 1 had all the staff available (even Nakatsuru was there!). Episode 19 had Yamamuro doing all the great things, and episod...

[spoiler]Either this guy is a troll, or incredibly dense. The "right" and the vid attached, constitutes the fact that Masunaga did a job out of the box in DBZ, but was done right: There still is no definitive "right" There's your fast paced and fluid animation (surpassed any Tat...

"No, I don't like that style, I like this style". Meh! wrong, Masunaga, yamamuro and karasawa aren't the same style as far as I know, and I like all of them. But yep, leave it that way, it's not like Tate and others will animate better for my and your opinions PS: I'm very pleased with th...

What constitutes as "right" in your argument? You're debating art. there is no empirical "Right". and if according to you, that's "right", then what is this? https://sakuga.yshi.org/post/show/23510/animated-background_animation-debris-effects-fight Is this wrong? The &...
