Maybe since they might not want to conflict brands but there still seems to be some time after the manga ends and GT starts. I think they just have a fondness for the Boo era cast.

Probably not since his speed totally dwarfs that type of Super Saiyan. Maybe if he slips up with his defense and the the others take advantage of that, they would win.

Not really since Dragon Ball Super is a midquel, not a sequel like GT. Also the whole side story invention insures that GT will still be preserved in some form in the future.

I'm cautiously excited. While I really enjoyed Battle of Gods, everything else hasn't been up to series quality standards. My biggest fear is how much money Toei is willing to put into this thing.

Just a suggestion but I think having Cell interrupt #16's introduction would be both funny and contribute to the show's pacing.

I always felt the same way, however I feel that can be applied to all of the series. The early Boo arc feels like it took inspiration from Saved By the Bell and the Cell arc reeks of teen fashion and some certain popular movies at the time.

Hopefully with the good sales we can see a sequel that addresses the servers, online functionality and general polish.

I kinda like Gokuu Jr and his antics. Something with connection to the old cast, but different enough to feel fresh. Anything to avoid regurgitation of things done before (Freeza returning...).
