This might not even be an error, but I'm just pointing it out to be safe.

What is the name of Pan's "date" in the first episode of GT? In the cast guide and the episode guide on the main site, you've got his name written as "ポベル" (Pobel). But in the GT Perfect File books (specifically, page 91 of vol. 1, which I'm holding in my hands right now), they have his name written as "ポペル" (Popel).

Do the episode credits spell his name differently than the guidebooks?

EDIT: Actually, for the sake of rambling, I noticed that a similar situation is going on with Zunama. In the guidebooks, his name is written as "ズーナマ" (Zūnama), but in the episode credits, his name is written as "ズーナマー" (Zūnamā). How do you guys handle things like this? Do you go by the episode itself, or the official guidebooks?

So I did a little research to try to answer your question, and I'm now even more confused than ever. In the episode credits Pan's date is listed as "ポベル" (Pobel), in the GT Perfect File he is listed as "ポペル" (Popel), and in Chōzenshū 4 he is listed as "ボペル" (Bopel). Honestly, I have no idea what his name is at this point. But for the purposes of the episode guide, I'm just listing them exactly as they appear in the actual credits. If something is clearly an error, which is easier to tell with a more common character or actor, then I will correct it and add a note.

The same thing goes for Zunama. However in Chōzenshū 4 he is listed as "ズーナマー" (Zūnamā), which does match the actual episode credits. So either someone is terrible at double-checking character names in official guides, or it's a huge trick to mess with us.

Wow, that's incredibly confusing. All we need is a future guidebook to name him "ボベル" (Bobel) and we'll be all set! I guess I'll just keep calling him "Hiroshi Kamiya" like I always have. Thanks a lot for looking into all of that for me; it was very kind of you to do.

By the way, great job on all of the episode pages! I didn't expect you guys to start doing GT so soon, but I always enjoy reading through these! Keep up the good work! It really is appreciated!

Minor thing, but Super Episode #3's summary says 18 is holding Marron, but it's actually Kuririn.

Sorry to double post, but i didn't want to just edit it into the last one if you guys had already see it.

Anyway, Toriyama's comment about Dragon Ball Super isn't archived. The condensed version first appearing in V-Jump has its own page, but that page isn't listed on the Translations page. The second, full comment is translated in the news article (with the updated text to reflect the new context about a universe setting rather than space), but isn't listed anywhere else to my knowledge.

Under "ハ", Grandma Hakkake's name is typo'd.

This one also is not written in kanji, but instead is the katakana character for “ha”. It is worn by Grandpma Hakkake...

Not sure if this is acknowledged/intentional or not as it must have been here for a while, but I just noticed this and it seems a bit outdated.
General Rumours wrote:Other than a recent revival in merchandising in Japan (including a re-release of the manga with new cover art and a slightly tweaked ending, but no new chapters… beyond possibly Dragon Ball SD, which itself is just a re-telling of the original story, if in a slightly more wacky fashion), there has been no indication from Shueisha, Toei, or even Akira Toriyama himself, that there is any interest whatsoever in creating new Dragon Ball manga.
EDIT: This kind of stuff shows up all throughout General Rumours, upon closer inspection.

"Tankoubon". Not wrong, but every other page has it written as Tankōbon.

"Janemba". Again, not wrong, but every other page has it written as Janenba.

"Bukūjutsu" is spelled as both Bukujutsu and Bukūjutsu on the same page.

This one I'm not sure about. "Aboot" was probably intentional?
"Castmember" is a strange compound word. Not wrong, but Cast Member is more common.

Just a few things I noticed while browsing the music database.

Track 35 of Kai Original Soundtrack Volume 1 has "Begginning" (with two "g"s).

Also, for what it's worth, track 15 of the "Kai Complete Song Collection" isn't a TV-size version. I own the album and the packaging makes no mention of "TVサイズ" anywhere. It also doesn't literally say "エンディング・テーマ" (although it is true).

Also-Also, I notice that Kenji Ōtsuki's name is written as Kenji Õtsuki (notice the different diacritic above the "O") for both the "Kai Complete Song Collection" and the third Kai soundtrack. Was that intended? I'm not as knowledgeable as I should be in this area. I usually see it written as "Ōtsuki."

Also-Also-Also, is the "Video Game Soundtracks" page supposed to be inaccessible? I found it by playing around with URLs, but there isn't a direct link from the "Music Database" page. I assumed maybe it was hidden because it wasn't ready, but the whole page looks fine to me.

By the way, I'm insanely grateful for the music database. I'm close to finally collecting every Dragon Ball vocal song and BGM cue (except for that damn hard-to-find Daizenshuu set!) and the music database made the whole thing extremely easy to research. It even inspired me to write up my own database for Digimon music (located in my sig). Seriously, thanks for all of your hard work!

This detail caught my eye while I was reading over the JSAT's page.
JSAT Feature Synopsis wrote:Vegeta scolds Tarble for relying on his scouter, and as an example, Goku begins to gather ki. The battle power reading on the scouter steadily increases. It soon breaks as Goku goes Super Saiyan and then Super Saiyan 2, and Tarble is amazed by Goku’s power.
I don't see any evidence that Goku became a Super Saiyan 2 when he was demonstrating his power to Tarble. Goku's hair definitely does not take on the shape it normally does when he's a SS2 (one large bang), and although there is electricity in his aura at the time, which I suspect is why the author of this page assumed he became a SS2 in the first place, it appeared in the animation while Goku was still in base, well before he became a Super Saiyan.

Fixed. Also reworked the explanation to include the more obvious reference to "Hakkake", or the Eight Trigrams.

These will be going away eventually when we replace the slightly dodgy Viz translations with our own. It's on the list for improvements to the Manga Guide... just need the time.

I'm pretty sure this is a deliberate reflection of Buu mispronouncing the word in Japanese, although I don't have the chapter in front of me right this second.

This one, at least, is definitely a stylistic choice. Hatchan always refers to Goku in full as ソンゴクウ (in katakana) rather than 孫悟空 or even just 悟空.

Two typos in the recent interview with Kōzō Shioya & Unshō Ishizuka:
On the other hand, Satan believes he himself is the strongest, so I want him to steadfastly keep to his stance that there’s no way even someone like Lord Beerus & co. would lose to him. (laughs)
Should be "would beat him".
(...) at any rate, right now I’m playing Satan with a thought to just how alive character the can be.
Should be "how alive the character can be".

Small spelling mistake in the Intended Endings Guide: Majin Boo section.
Toriyama intended Piccolo to fall under Babidi’s spell rather than Vegeta
While this rumor does not technically revolve around the Dragon Ball ending, we felt it was worth noting. It should not take to long to go over...
"To" should be "too".
