Kanzenshuu Community Gaming

Post by VegettoEX » Fri May 02, 2014 1:17 pm

Regular forumites know that we tend to stray away from "off-topic" things, but a little bit of focused community engagement isn't a truly terrible thing, right? Besides, we'll try to match up in as many Dragon Ball games as we can!

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn / Heavensward / Stormblood

Image

The official MMO of Kanzenshuu (so deemed by Grandmaster VegettoEX). Join up and play. $12.99/month (entry-level account). Available on PS4 and PC (and also Mac, but YMMV on that client).

We play on the Midgardsormr server/world (you are given an option to choose a server when you first start the game and created a character; otherwise, there is a transfer fee if you wish to change worlds later on). There is a "Kanzenshuu" grand company (guild) and linkshell (chat channel). We would love to have you join us. Any race, any class, any level of familiarity/hardcoreness and whatever time investment you want to make. Currently no set "raid times" but are open to setting that up in the future. Send a tell in-game to "Mike Kanzenshuu" and he will get you hooked up... of if all of that confuses you, just ask here or on Twitter or anywhere else!

General DBZ Online Gaming

Image

Dragon Ball FighterZ is the latest hotness that everyone is playing. Available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (via Steam). Anyone looking to game with other Kanzenshuu members, by all means leave your gamer tag / online profile name and preferred console (either publicly if you are OK with that or privately among each other). Open to setting up official/unofficial gaming times.

Steam Community

Image

Technically we have one! It's still under the old "Daizenshuu EX" name, but it's sorta kinda there and sorta kinda exists. If you are looking for some gaming friends, it's a good place to start.

Other DBZ Gaming Suggestions?

I'm gonna be starting up FF XIV when I get back from Greece and Italy at the end of the month. I'll definitely join up with this

As soon as Square-Enix starts deserving my money again by letting the latest Dragon Quest games leave Japan, I'll totally join you guys in FFXIV.

The recent announcement of the Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire remakes has got me wanting to play Pokemon for 3DS again, and it occurred to me that I've never done much online with it. Would anyone be interested in sharing friend codes?

There's always Pokemon conversation going on in the chat. I'm sure that no matter what you need, someone can hook you up with a critter you're lacking.

Yeah, the Pokemon convos went on so much that some random user got so fed up he/she called everyone out and was never heard from again.

Ahh, I should have known! IRC - how old school! I didn't realise that anyone still even used it. It takes me way back.

I mean, you're pretty open about looking at cartoon porn. Why would you do that? It's fiction. The proportions of these women are not possible to reach in reality.

PSN: Krimsonlance

XBL: Cutewilldestroy

I do not own either copy of Battle of Z anymore though... I'm mostly on Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle on the PS3 and my dad has pretty much taken over the Xbox so I let my gold expire.

3DS FC: 0619-5205-4258

Currently playing: Fire Emblem Awakening, One Piece: Romance Dawn RED, River City Ransom, Heroes of Ruin (rarely)... may get some other online games in the future, planning on getting Attack on Titan as soon as it comes out

Well, the Nintendo Wi-Fi network connectivity for DS and Wii is dead :(. I hope folks got a chance to play some last-minute Jump Ultimate Stars online...! Perhaps at a convention in the future we can do some local multiplayer.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is $11.99 right now for PC download via GameStop if anyone's interested in joining up.

My J Stars copy came two days ago, so if anyone would like to battle in that sounds like it would be fun.

When I get a better computer, I might just take this up... but for now I'm not on PC's much if I'm not at a friend's house doing a raid for some other games they're into

Just got a 2DS at long last, so figured I'd go ahead and throw my friend code out here in case anyone wants to add me to their friends list or what-not.

Friend Code: 4012-5593-1845

I've never messed with this sort of thing before (I could never get my DS to connect for some reason), but I think it should pop up as 'Gyt Kaliba' same as everything else I've set it to. So far all I've got for it is TMNT (played a bit), Pokemon Y (only so-far in, 3rd badge as of now), Animal Crossing: New Leaf (haven't started), and The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (haven't started), but I'm hoping to grow my collection pretty fast.

Joined the Steam group.

Some of you have me already, but my PSN/XBL/Steam usernames are all the same: Kamehamazing

There's still a few people I need to play J-Stars with on PSN. As for XBL, I mostly play GTAV or Halo 4.
