Sonic Unleashed. The Day stages could feature Goku or Gohan as kids, and the Night stages could feature Piccolo(You know, because of the stretchy arms thing).

That game came as a freebie when I first bought my PlayStation, still one my favourites today. I support this decision all the way.

This actually isn't that bad of a choice. Look at this and imagine it with Goku and Oozaru Vegeta.

I mean, come on, even the attack is called "Solar Flare." Granted, that name is only applicable for the dub of DBZ, but still.

God Hand is the only correct answer to this question.

The Tales series would be a good vehicle for a retelling of some of the more adventure based story arcs in Dragon Ball.

Megaman. Think about it.
Goku starts out with just his Nyoibo (Megabuster)

Then you could fight:
Tenshinhan (Taiyoken)
Kuririn (Kienzan)
Yamucha (Sokidan)
Piccolo (Bukujutsu)
Muten Roshi/Jackie Chun (Kamehameha)
Tao Pai Pai (Zanzoken maybe?)
Grandpa Gohan (Rock Paper Scissors fist. I forget the name).
Commander Black (Headbutt Charge)

Auxilary items could be the Kintoun and removal of weighted clothes.

In Wily's Castle you fight Raditz, Nappa, and Vegeta. Final boss is Oozaru Vegeta.

Either that or Metal Blade. I mean, two of them could probably kill him.

I'd like to see a DB themed FFT-style game.

I generally go through FFT with a Dragonball mindset. Turn everyone into martial artists (Monks), pick up new skills from other classes that can help them as martial artists, and do lots of training so that when I make it to the big battle I can wipe out the boss easily.

Though, because I'm not diverse enough, a lot of the time the story/boss fights are a lot harder than they should be and it comes down to the main character getting by on luck and tenacity to take out whoever is causing the most trouble.

I guess that's a lot like Dragonball. :D

Narutimeto ninja storoom

You can say they got it right decent Giant battles.
And decent uprising combos.
Decent diving combos.

Finishing and ultimate moves that are totally decent fast.

Decent assistance with team of three.

Yeah I was just about to write Ninja Storm and also the transformation would be very dynamic and dramatic.

Maybe. Keep in mind the response to Burst Limit's drama pieces, and Dragon Rush in Budokai 3...
That, and are we talking dramatic scenes with button-prompts to make the player feel in control? 'Cause I'm already disenfranchised enough by epic free-roaming 3d multi-tiered environments... but that can be overcome a bit more realisticly.

No what I mean about dramatic scenes I'm referring to transformations and finishers. Just look at how good the transformations are in Ninja storm and compare them to BL and RB. Budokai 2 and 3 however had very good and dramatic finishers that were fun to watch every time imo. Burst Limit's transformation were alright, Raging Blast on the other hand were just rips from BT3 accept for Freeza.

They could re-skin almost any game and call it Dragon Ball.
But I'd love to see them re-skin an adventure RPG like Dragon Quest. Only without that selection fighting style. Even since Toriyama did Dragon Quest's design.

Also, best idea ever: Ninten-Saibaman.
All the fun of Nintendogs with your pet saibaman.
Oh, you think the Grand Tour is your ally, you merely stepped into the Grand Tour. I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn’t see the Super until I was already a man; by then, it was nothing to me but blinding!

The ultimate re-skin would, of course, be Pokemon with DBZ characters. Instead of Ekans, you could catch Princess Snake. Primeape could be Bardock. The only bad thing is that a game like this could kill the podcast. Between his love of DB and his current battle with Pokeholism, Mike would probably abandon his duties as a podcaster.

That reminds me, am I the only one who realized that there were 150 monsters that could be caught in the electric rice cookers in Attack of the Saiyans?

Did that unlock a bonus pink monster that could learn any TM or was that removed for the US release?
