Cha La Head Cha La Third Version in Budokai 1?

I was watching through some Budokai playthroughs when I came across something that surprised me. Did anyone else not notice until now that they created the third animation of Head Cha-La in Budokai 1? Here's a video beginning where the third version stuff starts: http://youtu.be/4Qt6DpTlOh8?t=44s

Interesting and it does look nice, bummer they used Rock the Dragon but it's still better than the rock/techno opening from FUNi DBZ episodes used to have.

Not only that, there weren't alternate openings, when you began a new arc. Instead it went straight to the narration.

This is only tangentially related, but out of all of the times I've seen that variation of the opening, this is the first time that I've realized that that face is Gero's, and that the wire hand represents the androids. I don't know why that never clicked before.

I feel so dumb right now. --;

Thanks to this thread, I went and tracked down the original Japanese release on ebay. On behalf with a luck tough.

You mean that was used to replace the opening? In the Japanese version it plays after you sit at the title screen for too long.
