This will be an online event starting on December 7th. It will be divided in three parts and each part will give a new character to everyone that participates. For now it will go: 1st - 7th~13th and 2nd - 14th onwards.

Depending on the rank, there will be other prizes.

Sorry if this is going to be a hassle to get done, but could someone please explain to me or direct me toward the general plot of this 3DS game? As in what is the story about Dragon Ball Fusions exactly?

Tekka, the protagonist, and Pinach, his rival/friend search for the Dragon Balls to wish for something related to the strongest warrior of all times (I forgot the actually wish). They get sucked into a vortex and end up in a world that's basically several Dragon World's locations fused together. The boys split up, Tekka meets Trunks, Goten, Pan and Goku and adventures follow. They learn about the EX Fusion and about the 5-man Maxi Fusion (created by the Ginyu Tokusentai ). Tekka's goal is to then enter the Jikuuichi Budoukai. After that, they have to stop a certain "enemy".

There are also space-time cracks from where Dragon Ball characters from all over the franchise appear (games, movies, anime).

I'm in the earliest US timezone (Eastern), and it comes out tomorrow here. It's currently 8:25 PM at the time of writing, so about 3 and a half hours until it officially releases.

I got it. According to Gamestop, it was in their system as releasing on the 16th or something. So they sold it to me. I live on the East Coast of the US. So far, Japanese voice for when you start up the game when you select the icon on the home menu of the 3DS. The Japanese vocal song is still in the intro.

Nope. Voices are in Japanese. Text is only thing in English. You're not missing much with the voices though.

I hope the patches/updates for the game don't take too long to hit the US as they did with Extreme Butoden. I am way too excited to get that stuff. If Bamco know what they're doing, they'll push the updates out fast. But only time will tell.

So did Bamco lie about the November 22 release? They haven't put up a launch trailer or even made a statement, and my local game store says it's not releasing until December 13.

I'm currently talking to an American friend of mine who's been playing the game. So it's definitely supposed to be out.

I sitll have to wait until February to play this, but I want to know a few things.

Aside for the fusions, does the main character have transformations? I mean, if I choose a Saiyan, will I be able to transform into different grades of Super Saiyan? Have any of the other races any transformations?

I would like to know how your race affects the game.It determines only with who you can fuse? It gives you different bonus to stats? Is acknowledged in the story?

Races have different stats, but I'm sure the CAC can fuse with anybody if they have enough energy.

Saiyans can learn the SSJ skill from the character Sesame, but I believe that's a post-game mission. Any fusions with Sesame (EX and streetpass) can also use the SSJ skill as well.

Didn't have any copies at my Wal-mart yet either, nor a spot for it either, but eh, my Wal-mart's weird about that kinda thing. My game plate is full right now anyway just between Xenoverse 2 and Pokemon Sun, so I probably won't even bother to nab it quite just yet anyway, unless I decide to get it to hit some free shipping on Amazon or something.

I mean, if my Wal-mart does randomly throw it out soon, then I'll go ahead and nab it just because I'm a sucker for easy access, but I won't go out of my way to get t just yet when I won't even be playing it just yet. ^_^;

It doesn't seem like Walmart or Target in general have gotten any copies yet. Amazon was out of stock, and of course GameStop had it. I'll be getting it at GameStop later today, but still, kind of a bummer that I (we) couldn't get it on release day.

Downloaded it last night, played some this morning, absolutely love it. This is just the sort of Dragon Ball game I've been waiting for. Though I made myself kind of hungry while coming up with my CAC's name, lol. Gotta stuck to those Dragon Ball food puns!
