I don't particularly enjoy Dimps' character models; I vastly prefer Ultimate Tenkahichi's rounder, smoother look, but I wouldn't exactly call this game ugly. It's just not to my personal tastes.
If Dimps cared so much about fluidity, Xenoverse wouldn't be 30FPS on current gen. Plus, it's not fighting game.

Consider me pumped. Replaying the first Xenoverse is what convinced me to sign up here. I hope they don't spend so much time on Namek to the detriment of the other sagas though; the first game was really bare bones with Cell and ESPECIALLY Buu.

I hope to see pre-Raditz stuff as well but I'm not holding my breath.

So, watching the trailer a couple times over here and I have a few thoughts.

1) It looks like we can fly in the hub area, if we can that's nice because one of my major compliants was that it took FOREVER to traverse from on end of the hub to the other. If we can fly at high speeds. That'd address the issue perfectly!

2) It looks like there aren't any barriers in the hub area and we can just go chill on rooftops...k.

3) That "Outcomes you wished were different." tagline at the end makes me wonder if in certain areas we get to change the past to create a what if scenario. I'd like that if it were the case.

4) This stuff is pretty!

Ok that's really it. I'm getting coffee before I ramble any more.

Eeeehhh I don't know man... Right now I'm not all that impressed with the in-game models.. The cutscenes with Bardock and Trunks look great though.. The backgrounds seem to be upgraded a bit too.

So, when will Bandai ever release RPG Dragon Ball game for PS4, similar to Legacy of Goku?

It seems that the open-world will be limited to the hub once again...

If the posters they were teasing at the countdown is indicative of the acutal content, then this is gonna be a beast of a game.

Okay so lets handle this announcement like a proper adult...omgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomg!!!!! :P :lol: I can't wait for this! I enjoyed the crap out of the first one and I'll definitely pick this one up! I can't believe it's going to get released this year though!? But I mean, I think they did a fantastic job with adding a bunch of content in Xenoverse.
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

Ah so it was Xenoverse 2. Yep. Alright so.

-FIX THE RNG OH GOD PLEASE FIX THIS CRAP!
-No dumb clothing stats or height/weight stats
-More creation options
-Please don't tell me the story is recycled again. It kinda looks like it might be.
-Smarter AI
-Please no Super armour crap. It's really annoying. Just have a counter option instead.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

I was so disappointed that the GT sequel to Buu's Fury was a sidescrolling beat am up. I love the LoG series.

Now that you mention it that isn't the right hairstyle for him. I'm sure it was just for the sake of the trailer to have it in and they will fix it later at least I hope so. Other wise that part will just seem off even if it is just different hair. It won't have the same feel to the character.

It's a shame, the problem is that those graphics are technically possible in next-gen. :(

Anyway, it's too soon to conclude that these graphics will be only in cutscenes, in XV1 all the cutscenes are made with the in-game engine. It needs to be this way to put the custom character. So... who knows? maybe they want to work hard this time.
