Namco was clear, pre-order does not guarantee that you will get Goku Black. Why are we still talking about it?

Probably because Goku Black is a character from Super, which is only just now starting to leak out to US/Europe/Rest of the world, so the interest in it is higher than Future Trunks with his new design.

As well as the fact that this points to being most people outside of Japan's first exposure to the character and bits of what he's like, plus whoever his Funi English voice will be. (barring recasts between this game's recording and the actual show whenever they get to it.)

Curious, they didn't name him in any materials for this pre-order, did they?

Because, I kind of expect them to rename him Dark Goku, or something, his name's kind of weird for English, so...

I was trying to say that people are interested in Goku Black as a playable character cause DBS stuff is finally trickling out here...

Quantities of the Day One Edition are limited, as such you should preorder to guarantee that you get it. It's exactly how they did it for the first game.
The only thing I'm worried about is whether or not the copy of the game included with the Deluxe edition is the Day One Edition, the box doesn't say Day One Edition on it, but then again they didn't release any images of a box that says Day One Edition on it.
EDIT: The Press release basically says the Deluxe and Collector's editions come with the Day One Edition, never mind.

Well, in all fairness, Black being in the Day 1 edition makes it more likely that people will get him. They always pull the 'limited' bull with Day 1 editions and so long as you pre-order you're pretty much definitely getting the Day 1 edition so there's not much to worry about.

Just get the game at Walmart. They have carried games with Day 1/preorder content for a while.

I hope we get Black Goku as dlc later on, it wouldn't be fair that the cpu could use it while we can't, like SSJ4 Vegeta in Xenoverse.

I just checked EBGames Australia again to see the listings of Xenoverse 2. What's strange is that none of the versions of the game even mention Goku Black being a preorder bonus. Not only that, but the Deluxe Edition is only available on the PlayStation 4. That's odd.

Maybe they'll update it later with the preorder bonus.

Yeah, that's why my friends use it, I use Prime too but never for pre-ordering games. If a game comes with a bonus I want I go to a guarantee source.

Man I hope they change the some of the sound effects later. The sword slashes still sound like hits instead of slices, along with some ki blasts not having sound at all.
