Gohan, those are not the comments I expect from an instructor!
Wait, WHAT?! Is that legit a line in the game?

Yamcha was my Instructor, if you choose a different instructor and go back to your previous instructor they say something about your new instructor this is what Yamcha says:
Rumor has it 18 is your teacher now!
She's one hardass teacher from what I hear. If you were hoping for easy training, you chose wrong.

Yep. When you beat the third lesson of Gohan and Videl's training they say this before the lesson ends.
When Super apparently shoves Goku down our throats:
Spoiler:
HeroR wrote:The characters in Super can work with Goku and they're treated like equals to him. Goku just being in the room doesn't take away from the character. In Z, the characters were so depended on Goku that they couldn't go an episode without mentioning him in some way even by hoping he will arrived, get better, training to get stronger, our last hope, being like him, ect. Goku was wanked to hell in Z, even when he wasn't in the room and everyone else was secondary to him. In fact, this was a major issue Goku had, which is why he didn't want to do anything in the Buu Saga.
So if Gohan and Videl are mentors again in this game, do we still have all the same mentors (plus new ones) as from the first game then?

Yes. With the same moves, though different missions to get them.

That's a bit disappointing, huh. Who are some of the new mentors then?

Man, do I love Archipelago! And, of course, being a Resurrection 'F' fanboy, I love Beach as well.

I got the game on Tuesday the 25th and cleared the main story on Thursday the 27th.

What's the first hidden condition, to start the Ultimate Finish?

It's litterally the same quest from Xenoverse 1. Beat the stuff out of Super Saiyajin God Gokuu/Super Saiyajin Gokuu within 3 minutes and he revives as Super Saiyajin God Gokuu again. Beat him again and done. Took me five minutes or so in total.
(Time Patrollers are optional in the Mountain Area but they just cost you time)

Ah, all right. I'll most likely wait until I've cleared all the rest of the PQs, so I'm a higher level. Speaking of which, I've already cleared 80 of them. Odd that the GT ones are placed so late into them, though.

You'd prefer they take away all of the mentors from the first game? The new ones are Turles, Majin Buu, Slug,Radits, Nappa, Dodoria, Zarbon and Broly off the top of my head. With Bardock, Future Gohan, Whis and Cooler coming later down the line possibly.

It's not that I'd prefer they take away all of them, I'd just like some of them to feel more like...well...mentors. Learning from most of the heroes is fine and all, but Gohan and Videl sharing a slot is weird, as is learning from Beerus if we're going to more properly learn from Whis later on. Really though, I'd kind of prefer if they made it where the mentors are all actually people trained with in the series proper, even if in some characters' cases those are the only place you see them. Like, let us train with Roshi, Crane Hermit, Korin, Kami, King Kai, Whis, Piccolo, Goku, Elder Kai, etc., including us doing some of the actual training as seen (like chasing Gregory with a mallet) and such. Probably wishing for the moon there though.

Would be cool if Whis gave each Race a new transformation; namely Super Saiyan Blue for Saiyans.
Also, I was thinking about Goku's potential Universal Tournament Arc transformations. They could have Super Saiyan take 300 Ki, Super Saiyan Blue 400, and SSJB Kaioken x10 500 (because who wants regular SSJBKK? ). Could that work?
Well, beat all PQs, trained with every mentor, completed the expert missions, and completed the secret story. Have nothing to do now until DLC comes in. Also Lvl 80.

Has anyone else noticed how the battle stages seem to be pretty dark compared to the rest of the game? I've been doing some reading online and lots of people have suggested turning the brightness up to the max. I'm thinking of adjusting it but I'm not sure if the game is supposed to look that way and if people are just overreacting. Has anyone here changed the brightness? I'm playing the PS4 version by the way.
One stage that really sticks out to me is the Spacepod stage. Compared to XV1 it's really dim.
My copy has arrived, and huzzah, it does have the Day One DLC code inside! ...Now I just can't do anything with it until next Thursday.
