It's weird because they used to let use do that kind of stuff all the time back in their 1v1 fighters. I hope they take a page out of the Budokai games book and let us customize the move sets of the series characters in the 3rd game.

While I'm not a fan of any fan terms we've been graced with, "Freeza Race" is by far the worst name they could have come up with. It makes them feel like an after thought of an addition, when even Boo people were given an origin in DBO/Xenoverse. I'm hopeful(?) that with Frost returning to Super, we'll obtain at least some sort of nugget or throw away line that gives us more than the absolute nothing we've been told about these people. The fact that the paired universes (that should not have any identical people, just established locations) both contain prickish tyrants from the same race is either mind-numbingly vapid story telling... or there's something fishy going on with 'em all.

I'm pretty sure "Freeza race" is not a name but a provisional one instead. Since no official name was given, one can do nothing but improvise.
