No way they would release it so soon. When they say "before the release of the movie", it's meant to be the American release, not the Japanese. Also, I'm pretty sure there will be a livestream as always.

Hints that it's comming soon and apparently the photomode is not apart of the free update or DLC. It's a separate update coming in early 2019

I really don't want to have to wait longer for the photo mode, this is one of the more interesting features they've added, like the hero colosseum - can't wait to see how it all works

I've noticed the lack of any mention of a story as well, but we still have a month until the movie comes out, and the DLC supposedly comes out before then. So there could still be time for the story to get announced. It's just a bit odd that they haven't put any emphasis on it yet.

A month? The movie comes out this week. And Bandai Namco said the DLC would drop before the dbs movie premiere. Thats friday. So it has to be coming out this Thursday

That release window was confirmed to have been a mistake.



Also, they were talking about the US premiere, not the Japanese premiere. The DLC could still come out this month. We just don't know yet.

Regarding the release date of the DLC, I could see it being late 2018/early 2019, potentially even after the US release

Resurrection F was released April 2015, the DLC pack for Xenoverse 1 for it was released in June, and the limited Western release was in August. So it seems between the two releases is a likely scenario

The DLC is always released on a Tuesday, in the perfect scenario, we could get it in the last Tuesday of December, which coincides with Christmas (Bandai would be wise to release it that day).

If not, then it's probably going to be released either the 8th or 15th (or even 22nd) of January (if what they say about releasing prior to the movie launch is true), since both dates are not the last Tuesday of the month. There will probably be a livestream revealing the date as always so we wait for its announcement.

As far as we know... We weren't even promised this many DLCs, and they just keep going. lol

As far as we know, Xenoverse has been a cycle of the Devs saying "Okay, this probably won't be popular enough to get extra content- IT'S SELLING THAT WELL!?"
