People are gonna switch their tunes when the first teaser of Kid Goku drops and they see how fun he actually is

It'd be a smart move however if when he goes SS4 his entire fighting style + move set changes dramatically that would be a diff type move for this game but in a good way they messed up big time not doing that with Golden freeza (Only made freeza faster and ignored his variety of possible new supers)

People who just don't want to admit that a GT character made it into this game. It's like it's such a strange thing to happen for some reason, same game that has Cooler in it.

I mean, the did give him some kid goku stuff from pre Z era, I guess to average two iterations of kid goku into one (not that I'm complaining I love the idea)

I don't. Story-wise I prefer Budokai 1 and 3 over FighterZ, for example. I'm not a fighting game enthusiast and FighterZ being competitive won't just put it on top of my list.

I'd rather for them to keep up the momentum, as they could've added Kefla, Cale or Caulifla, Cabba, some of the new characters as we have almost everyone from DB Super in the roster.

Cabba literally has no moveset potential. I watched the anime, read the manga, and I still don't know why people think he would be a viable candidate.

Also wow, one new character added is not from DBS and it's already losing momentum? Why should I let them decide my personal taste?

Well, you can boycot them, but it is them who decides what will get to the game and your personal taste is just your personal taste in the end.

^ So it's just a matter of design, then? Because in the end, this Goku IS physically the original Goku too, just with the Remake design from Path to Power. So it's like "you wanted the original Goku? You've got him AND with his updated design AND with a few moves that can make him the GT version AND with the Super Saiyan 4".

Those who wanted Kid Goku? Satisfied with his Path to Power version using the Nyoi Bo and Reverse Kame Hame Ha.
Those who wanted GT Kid Goku? Satisfied with his transformation into a SS3 and the Genki Dama.
Those who wanted SS4 Goku? Satisfied with his secret level 3 judging by the latest tweet about a super-secret third form.

That's how to give you three wanted characters in one slot to satisfy three wishes and avoid an overdose of Gokus by using only one slot for all three.
Which is ironic when people complain that it's yet another Goku when they likely devised him to satisfy people while avoiding to add 3 different Gokus in the future for Kid Goku, GT Kid Goku and SS4 Goku, having to add just one.

Yes, that's a separate thing. I welcome additions like Taopaipai or Piccolo Daimao, even Pilaf Machine would be fun. But regarding Goku, I'm glad we're getting his GT version myself. It's the most unpredictable one and shows they're willing to do whatever they want, and not depend on Internet popularity polls for choices.

Character patch coming on the 27th, seems everyone got buffed. There's like 7 pages of changes, too many to list.

I never watched GT in its entirety but of the little bit that I saw I don't recall him using the Nyoibo. So I'd like to think that this is the Goku from the 10th anniversary movie. But even if it's the GT version I'm just happy he's here!

In GT? IIRC he only had it in the ending as an adult or randomly had it during the credits.

Outside of that, there was a call back to it in his "fight" with Cell and Frieza where he made a makeshift version of the Power Pole and Nimbus using Freeza's Destro Disc and a Spike.

But seriously, he does look fun, and I like that they put in aspects of OG DB Goku like the Power Pole. I was hoping they'd do Oozaru as a power-up, but I figure the scale of that form would make it extremely difficult to work into the game...

Really hoping we get Roshi as the last unrevealed character, though I've got a sinking feeling it'll be Janemba like the rumour says.
