I see people excited that this game is referencing Toyotaro comic , but I don't see how Trunks handling the Boo threat could be a big deal. They just used the comic as reference cause the anime is really vague about it: we just see a scene of Trunks defeating both Dabura, Babidi and that's it. Is not like we're going to see common Super Saiyan Black nor Perfected Blue in this DLC story arc either.

I'm later to the party but I just started playing this with my 8 years old daughter. I find the open world a bit lacking with the fighting and collecting z orbs (we're only at the part where Piccolo is flying around to meet raditz). All those robots feel unrssecary.

Having said that my daughter finds it really fun to play.

In my opinion, the game really excels at retelling the events of the arcs it adapts. The only letdowns are the missing fights from the Cell Saga with Vegeta & Trunks & some of the more iconic moments not being adapted for whatever reason. The game is beautiful in its presentation (minus some character models, Goku's being the 1 I have the most problems with for his face & hair) & I like what it does well a lot. However, it does falter in a few places, but people have pointed those out already.
Only dubs that matter are DB, Kai, & Super. Nothing else.

I just wish this game had ground combat. Some fights get either cutscene'd or omitted because characters were fighting in the ground (Videl vs Spopovich, Goten vs Trunks), and you can't have any diversion in sub quests besides fighting RR Robots out of nowhere because they fly. So things like battling criminals with Great Saiyaman is also impossible here.

I'm really loving this DLC, one-armed Gohan is tight, the raining scene as well. Too bad we didn't get to fight Mecha Freeza. I would've liked that the last beating from the androids, before going to the past, had that beautiful scenery from the OVA, with the sun setting and a tired Trunks just hitting them in the face to no effect.

Now I'm getting ready for the second trip to the past, let's see what's in store for Trunks.

Playing the Namek and Cell saga soundtrack on Youtube while roaming the destroyed cities feels incredible.

Do they say anything interesting about Mira and Towa here?

That's how mods usually are.

I know there are some VERY convoluted ways to mod consoles (basically jailbreaking the console to romhack the game itself), but I see no such mods for Kakarot.

Insert " PC Master Race BS" comment here.

I wonder if the 1-game-a-year contract still stands, and the Switch port of Kakarot is the "new" game of 2021. I mean, it still counts on paper even though it's a port with a bit of new content added in.

Obviously because Super Sonic is a rip off of Super Saiyan.

I know that, but seriously, I just don't like Sonic mods in DB games very much, they just don't excite me.
But that's just only for me.

And yet, you can just continue ignoring them, since they don't hurt anyone & are gonna be there anyways, as you said.

Playable Vegito and Gotenks... and something related to the difficulty of the game.

I have no clue, for Vegito and Gotenks probably no.

If there are new DLCs coming this way, they could be about the Z movies, or arcs from DBS. Maybe expand on Future timeline with Black and Zamasu, or have the Broly movie.

I would like it if they include a Tournament mode, we already have the arena.

Maybe the Black Goku saga.

I saw the Fusion Update dropped for Switch. Any word on the update for other consoles/PC?
