That's actually the 2005 version of CHA-LA-HEAD-CHA-LA.songohan619 wrote:Super Dragon Ball Z Japanese Intro Version(Don`t know what it is called?)
As for which versions are my favorite, I'd have to go with the original Japanese version. The Mexican version would come in a close second, which still holds a special place in my heart.

Original 1989 Japanese version.
Mexican version.
Budokai 1 instrumental version (hope that counts).
No particular order.

The original and the one sung by Konata in Lucky Star.

There's a few videos of JAM Project singing it as part of a medly of anisongs, which is really cool. Sure, Kageyama leads (and pretty much overpowers everyone else), but it's still a cool idea...getting those greats together to work on a Dragon Ball song, that is. I guess any rendition if fine by me, espicially when Kageyama's really feeling the concert energy.

1. Original (Full length version)
2. Cha-La Head-Cha-La (Variations) first part (Complete BGM Collection, d1 t6)
3. Kieru Namekkusei to kibou or Planet Namek and Hope Vanish (5d set d1 t12, Complete BGM Collection d1, t16)
(Also - not a Cha-La version, but - the hungarian intro is ok too. It's the french song - we, Huns got the series from France - with hun vocals - much more better than the original with that scarry female singing,

Oh yeah, I definitely second jpdbzrulz4sure's last choice, the instrumental version from Budokai 1. It totally counts!

A "rather haggard" translation of a line from Future Gohan in DBZ, provided to FUNimation by Toei:
"To think of fighting that is this fun...so, it was pleasant fight, as many as, therefore is a feeling which is good the fight where."
