When you think of DB/DBZ...

Post by Patrick » Wed Feb 19, 2014 5:13 pm

What is the first song/soundtrack that comes to your head? It can be from any media whatsoever, the anime/video games/the movies/ect.

With that said, the first soundtrack that I think of when DBZ comes up is Cha-La Head Cha-La. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHnfX1RmZX8

Now, let's see what everyone else has to say!

Hmm, probably this. You just know it gets serious when this kicks off.

I always think of Romantic Ageru Yo, it's such a catchy song.

Makafushigi adventure was the first related song I listened to back when I was a kid, but when I think about DB in general, I think Cha-la Head cha-la is the first one that comes to mind though, I just love that song!

Lately, it's been Harmony Gold's version of Makafushigi Adventure.

Well, when I think of Kai, this comes to mind since it is used in nearly every fight.

Makafushigi Adventure, definitely. Both the actual opening version and the BGM version as well. A close second though would be Mezase Tenkaichi.

For the Falcouner score, it'd probably be a toss up between the SS3 theme and SS Vegeta theme.

You cannot imagine how often that tune enters my head. I find myself humming it in the middle of the day, during meals, at night in bed. It's not very restful.

For DB it would be King Piccolo's various themes.

For Z It's Faulconer's SS3 theme.

The Buu arc pops into my head immediately when I think of DBZ, and this is the theme I associate with the Buu arc most.

I finally realized I don't associate it with any particular tune. I think of a specific set of synths and samples.

I'm going to have to second your statement. This song is what I think of when I think of DB music.
