Heyo people of Kanzenshuu. I have a question regarding the opening theme of Super Gokuden: Kakusei-Hen

I compared this to what seems to be a "refreshed" version of the song from this video from 2:41 - 4:02

Is the refreshed version from the Awakening edition? I really want to know.

Sounds like a bad OCRemix. I'll try to find it for you.
Edit: I'll be damned, I think it's official. (...Or maybe a fan arranged the entire soundtrack?)

This video calls the album Super Gokūden Kakusei-hen Music Collection,
but I can't find anything officially released by that name, only this.
Kanzenshuu's video game soundtrack page makes no mention of it either.

It is on Kanzenshuu's page, listed as "Awakening Edition," which is a translation of "Kakusei-hen" (though probably "Awakening Chapter" would be a bit more appropriate in the context of a video game title.)
It's the first track from that album, which mostly consists of arranged versions of the SGD2 soundtrack with some Ultimate Battle 22 thrown in for some reason.
